But there are more aspects of a player to look at than the stat line.

Obviously, but it's not like this team has great chemistry as it is, if that is what you are alluding to.

We should stop trying to be the morality police of the NBA, and bring in guys that can actually play. Zach wouldn't hurt this team chemisty-wise more than it already is. Same thing with bringing Ruben back. Zach and Ruben can actually play, while Bobby and Yi, can't. I love Yi, but he shouldn't be getting more than 15-20 mpg at this point of his career.

And, everywhere I've looked, I have heard the same thing. Zach needs a shot blocking Center that can also score next to him for him to be best utilized. Well, we got that in Bogut, and our back court isn't too bad either. I think Zach could be in a good situation here, and our team would be a lot better than it is right now that's for sure.

I agree with you. We have nothing to lose. The money is tied up anyway. The Bucks are boring. Zach has played on some pretty poor teams. Not really fair to judge him on that. And if not than YI should be playing even more, not less. At this point it does not really matter.

If one agrees that the Bucks have bad chemistry now, bringing in a player that would make things worth hardly seems logical.

If your house was burning, would you add gasoline?

The Bucks do have bad chemistry (bigs blaming Mo and Redd for selfish play, Mo and Redd playing poor permimeter defense, Bobby acting like a cancer behind the scenes, Yi hitting the rookie wall but Larry K refusing to give extra minutes to CV, assistant coaches wrestling with Mo, etc). But bringing in a guy who is going to "get his numbers" no matter what the team needs or situation dictates AND whose considerable skills have never translated towards a winning team... well that solves nothing except change for the sake of change.

Think about it... lots of forum guys like to rave about how Zach is a 20-10 guy. What has he ever done at MSU, Portland, or New York except get great stats? His teams don't win, his teammates hate him, and he makes way too much money.

Please stop suggesting that Zach would do anything to help our depressing situation.

Ok. So, if we can get Larry Brown in here, then the next step is this blockbuster deal:

Williams/Simmons/Gadzuric to New York

Villanueva/Balkman/Voskuhl to Sacramento

Artest/Randolph/Rose to Milwaukee

Ivey/Bell
Redd/Bell
Artest/Mason
Randolph/Yi
Bogut/Yi

...I'll accept Zach, if Larry Brown is in charge. That lineup can take on the Celtics the next couple of years. Bogut's extension comes from the cap space of Mason and Roses' expiring after next season deals. We have defense at the key positions (the 1 and 5), plus a defensive player of the year candidate (which all most all contenders have). Don't worry about Ivey. He will be just like Rondo in this setup. We'd have our 60+ points per game, big 3. With that, everything else falls into place.
