Great thread. Eventually the truth will reveal itself.

Rebounding is all effort. I'm far more impressed with his rebounding than his scoring. If he could crash the boards like that every time he got on the floor, he'd probably find himself on the floor instead of sitting on the bench. Bottom line.
He looked great last night. He'll never be a contributor for anyone as long as he plays hard one out of every five nights.

"He'll never be a contributor for anyone as long as he plays hard one out of every five nights."

True enough. But it's not all on Charlie. Or rather shouldn't be, although the franchise has made it all on Charlie.

Looks to me this franchise has fully engaged very few if any of its players. CBell is improved some, but in the quiet moments still has that far away look in his eyes. So does Bogut, sometimes. The other guys want to believe in the team, but it's not easy. Losing makes it harder, yes, but beyond that Milwaukee isn't offering a productive atmosphere for playing basketball - and doesn't show that they know what they're doing.

If all the players were offered a big red easy button that would move them to another team, or that would completely change the management of this team, how many would hit that button?

He played his arse off to prove that he's worth trading. He wants to play and showed it, but knows he can't in Milwaukee since they have Yi and Yi will become a big money maker for the Bucks. Villa should be dealt for a first round pick to a team in the East in need of a power forward of his caliber. I'd like to see him on Charlotte next to Wallace and Okafor.

Yeah...Jerrod also made that comment about Yi's outside bricks not drawing criticism like CV's do.....

I get it that Yi is a far more reliable player on D....but you've got to give CV this starting nod here for a few weeks and see if he can bring. If he does, worse case you've improved his trade value.

I want to see him out there with Bogut drawing the double teams....not with Gadzuric like he's been much of the year....we traded for him to pair with Bogut. Let's see if it can work again like it did the first two weeks of last year.

Question is was this a 48 point effort game. Once in a blue moon or can he string a couple of games together. Or maybe Bucks can take advantage of his motivated state of mind (ie wanting to leave) and ship him while he looks half-decent.

the fact that he was in consistent in his rookie season is noraml since hes rookie, 2nd year he was injured , 3rd year u have a guy who's starting even though chalrie v is starting, also even when charlie has a good game he does not get rewarded and often hes sub for yi, even when charlie should be on the floor.

Hard to bring it 100 % everyday dont u think.

On the right team charlie v is very good

Return to Milwaukee Bucks
