Okur is the worst defender in the Jazz starting five and it isn't close. Bogut is probably the top center at taking charges in the league and is averaging almost 2 blocks per game besides, not to mention being much younger.

Bucks would never offer this. Never.

If the Bucks are planning on going back to last year's offense we can have anyone playing center in that situation. I would prefer to have one who can shoot a jumper if they are going to stand at the top of the key.

I agree that Bogut is a better overall player than Okur but I see Bogut either demanding a trade shortly or leaving at first chance. We are going to need to get some value for him.

I am just all in for change at this point. Regardless of what it brings.
"I just wanted to play because I just love the game," Jennings said. "It doesn't matter to me. I get up to play basketball. It's my job. I have to still be a professional and finish the season."

So you would trade a guy who is showing signs of breaking out at the hardest position to fill for a center who can shoot jumpshots, just because you think it would help our offense better? Totally ignorning that he cannot score in the post, block shots, or defend?

Wow. I think I'm done in this thread.

Im talkn about " Is Okur a good defender". Given his position, hes a damn good post defender. Bogut has yet to show consistency on defending opponents top post threats. On the other hand Okur is known for playing TOUGH D on elite level players like TD.

He held Yao to career low shooting in 7 series. He also held TD to playoff low PPG --- if those made him the worst defender in the Jazz, hah, OK, you win.

Then trade for Zach Randolph, so there will be 5 of these vital no defense/jump shooting players in the starting line-up.

If you're going to judge something purely based on a play-off series then someone go and trade for that 20/10 beast in New York only being paid like 5 mil a season and not getting any game time.
