Sam,
Thanks for the emails. While we like our core group of guys, we will be active and listen to trade offers as next week's deadline approaches. It can be tough to make trades in this league, but we are definitely trying to do whatever it takes to make this team better. We should know more in the next week or so...stay tuned.
Thanks again for your emails and trade suggestions - you have some nice thoughts.
Larry Harris

Hey Larry,

I know your hands may be tied by herb kohl, but this franchise desperately needs to shaken up. As a bucks fan I'd truly be heartbroken if guys like mo, simmons, bell or redd got in the way of Yi and Boguts development and led to them wanting out of this franchise when their rookie deals are up.

The future rests with those two players and the roster needs to be re-shapen with players who fit Bogut's and Yi's style so Bogut can step in an assume that leadership role that this team needs. I have a feeling a guy like Mo won't allow Bogut to assert himself behind the scenes as he should.

I can speak for many bucks fans when I say I'd be happy for a large shake up NOW rather than later, hopefully resulting in a team that takes a less selfish approach and plays defense. The bucks future lies with Bogut and Yi and the roster needs to be adjusted accordingly because our backcourt just does not complement them at all.

Thanks for checking out my email, and GO BUCKS

.........................

I have to hand it to Larry...
Even while the milwaukee bucks world is falling apart, he's still taking time to answer emails. Anyways, he's at least acknowledging that he's actively looking to make deals.

I like his "stay tuned" line, hopefully he's got something big up his sleeve.
Or he's just being friendly and blowing some smoke. Either way, I like how he still responds to fan emails.

He usually gives pretty generic answers, the fact that he hints at our core being broken up within the next week....is somewhat surprising.

Could mean nothing, could mean something.

His name is now "The" Larry Harris? Are you that respective of him because he sent you an e-mail? Anyway, the "stay tuned" could be something that he just put in there to keep you to keep watching and paying attention to them. Or something is really going down.

So basically Harris is saying they are trying to trade for acceptable return.

At this point, 4 games out of playoff picture, it's tough to make a decision between whether to ride the sinking ship or let it tank.

I would not hesitate to trade away Mo or Redd or maybe both for expiring contracts and look forward to lottery and free agents next year. This team is not going to be any better with them.

I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

I know I could go for another first round sweep. DREAM BIG!

His secretary could have wrote that as far as we know. Simple answer with nothing more than "make are team better attitude" that anyone would say.

Well at least if it is true, we know he is listening for some bait hopefully!

How can he still say he 'likes our core players' IF THEY DO NOT WIN or make this team better!?

To me that is baffonery! How can a successful GM says he likes anything when after 3-4 years they still are not producing!?

You like what! What in the world does Harris' still 'Like' about this team!? I am confused! Like??? Bad choice of words...right now.

You should not "like" anything! It is just like Mo Williams smiling and being happy and 'just playing basketball man....'

Just playing.... 'losing basketball' is having fun?

I just wanted to come back and make my last post with this name and get in and get out and not cause too much of a stir and now you got me fired up again with this senseless email you got back. :banghead:

LOL...unreal. :noway: Like? Harris 'likes his core group of players' at this stage? You do!? Then perhaps you should look for another job.

The Grizzlies 'liked' Gasol better in LA, and the T'Wolves 'liked' Garnett and the Sixers 'liked' Iverson and the Nets and Mavs' I bet 'liked' JKidd and Devin Harris too ....and both all of them are gone to make other teams better!!!!

Seattle liked Rashard Lewis and Ray Allen! Like? Like my foot! I like to win! I liked Ray Allen and Rafer Alston and both were moved from here
and we were a winning team then too!

No more sentimental crap! I like Redd too, but if a deal comes along you do it regardless to who you "like!"

Like...geezus crips! Don't use the words 'fun' or 'like' and the Bucks in the same sentence. :noway:

There is not a damn thing to 'like' or have 'fun' about these days...

WINNING IS FUN! That is it!

I wish we could see what kind of team LH would make without Kohl's interference. I believe Carlos Boozer would be our PR right now.

yeah its hard to judge the work of LH here. The only things I'm truly upset about are the contracts with simmons and gadz.

Those seem like moves that were all harris.
