Thanks. But I still dont like it. Seems like something the richer teams can do. Kind of a loophole for them. I can not see the Bucks doing it.

You are correct in that it is such a costly maneuver that only the wealthier teams would likely use it.

The other factor is that this you lose the ability to use this maneuver when you renounce these players in order to use cap space.
