you are probably not going to see the management doing the right thing in your life time, or in kohl's life time
I am an optimist and after 3 years still hoping better times are coming for Bucks if that means new owner, that might also come.
But my wish would be Bucks with Bogut in the future.
Also I like reading comments although myself not commenting much. Have brains like most of the managements ( chicken brains ) and leave the comments to those they have higher knowledge of basketball. If a GM or a Coach cannot do as he sees fit , then the owner is an unreasonable man.
When you put on that jersey, the name on the front is more important then the name on the back.

So cause I hated him I began to like the Bucks.
that's gotta be don lane you're talking about. he loved his college ball if i recall.

So how the f did you land on the Bucks? It certainly couldn't have been because of the colors...
long story, i've told it a couple times before. but the short of it... i was a blue edwards fans, todd day fan... and i love the underdog. i needed a team of my own because everyone else followed jordan and the bulls.

I started following the NBA in 79-80 when Magic and Bird put the league on the map. At that time, we started getting US basketball and general sports magazines in Australia although they were still hard to find. Prior to that, the NBA was a mythical league where the rings were 11' high but everyone could dunk, centers dribbled like point guards, all players could shoot at tremendous percentages, and the shortest players were 6'5". The NBA was so superior, college players were good enough to win Olympic gold - at least that part was true
Anyway, I was a fan of a player type that didn't exist in Australia - the dominant center. Kareem at Milwaukee was before my time but I was a huge fan of his during the 80s Lakers showtime era. However, the Bucks got my attention through the great Bob Lanier and the fact that they were a highly respected, winning franchise in the early 80s. Teams feared playing the Bucks. Then came Jack Sikma and, later, Moses Malone.
Unfortunately, although still productive, all 3 players were in decline with the Bucks. It was especially sad that Moses arrival heralded the downward transition of the next 15+ years.
Bogut re-established my interest in the Bucks and, as other Aussies have said, the quality of this board will ensure my fandom no matter where Andrew ends up.

This team depresses me no **** end. So yeah I'm pretty attached. Would you, as one of the last remaining members of the Redd fan club leave the Bucks with him?
No, I've been with this team since I was kid. I was as big if not bigger Ray Allen fan then Redd fan and I got over him being traded.

of cuz not to yi or bogut
but to redd
are you even gonna be in this board if redd is traded?
Yes I will still keep coming to this board if Redd is traded. I'm not just a Redd fan, I'm a fan of everyone on this team and I support and want the best for everyone on this team while they are on this team. I was a die hard Bucks fan long before Redd arrived and I will still be a die hard Bucks fan when he leaves.

This is the first thing I thought of after I read the post and saw who wrote it. Either way the word "hater" would get used a lot less.
Why??
Besides I haven't called anyone a hater in atleast a week.

I do not know if I am qualified to answer your question. I am Chinese and I followed Yi to the Bucks. I have been diehard Badger fan and Packer fan for many years. I love everything related to Wisconsin except the weather, but the Bucks had never caught my attention. I guess part of the reason is that Milwaukee as a city is kind of "unwisconsin", the other part is that the Bucks is not very "attractive".
This team is still boring. I understand Milwaukee is not a big market, they may not be able to get a talented team like LA or Boston do because of that. But at least they can try to do something right, and play like a team. You have to have something for your fans to root for. And I just do not see that. They are willing to stay mediocre with no identity.
I like Bogut more than Yi and certainly a lot more than Redd. I don't mind let Yi come off bench for the time being. I do mind somehow seeing the team let Redd do whatever he wants while Bogut does not seem to have a say. This is just one of those things this team not doing right.
I lost my cool at my house right after Packers lost to Giants because a friend asked a stupid question about Packers, to the extent even the kids stopped running around. I doubt I will ever that much emotionally attached to the Bucks, whether Yi stay or leave.
I still chose Miller Light/genuin draft over Bud/Corona/Heniken as my daily drink. I wish one day I will chose Bucks over other NBA team the way I chose my beer. I just do not see it coming soon.

I started to follow NBA after playing Lakers v Celtics for the first time - then I loosely followed the game but never landed on one team. With Bogut getting drafted to the Bucks made it official, that being said I have come to know the other pieces of the Bucks puzzle. Confused, but i still follow the progress of the team.
That being said of course I monitor bogut's progress more then others, more of a Boomers fan, so wanting to know that the boy is ok. If he did get traded, I would follow the other team, but would still keep the bucks in the picture.
