Yep, I'm in the "choose a plan and go all out with it" strategy. I basically want them to choose between Redd and Yi. If they want to win now, they could probably do something like Yi plus our lotto pick for Brand (or another similarly-tiered player). If they want to rebuild, they could probably move Redd for another lotto pick, and start putting two-way role players alongside Yi and Bogut.

I would say a guy who parlayed one trade exemption into 3 first round picks is a top trader.

The word you're looking for is "exception" not "exemption" as in a non-simultaneous Traded Player Exception (TPE)
And technically he didn't really parlay the TPE into anything, since it is not a commodity that you can trade, it is just something that gives you the ability to absorb salary in a trade using that TPE.

Also the Sonics didn't just "get" 3 1st round draft picks.
They will have paid out ~$8.4 mil more in salary than they would have had to pay out if they had not utilized that TPE like they did.
For that ~$8.4 mil spent and a 2008 conditional 2nd round pick, they obtained the services of Kurt Thomas for most of the season (until this recent trade), and the services of Francisco Elson for the remainder of the season, the Suns 2008 and 2010 1st round picks, and the Spurs 2009 1st round pick.
I don't know that I'd consider the player contributions helpful at all based on the Sonics situation, so I'd classify this as the Sonics paying $2.8 mil per 1st round pick in the real late 1st round of the next three drafts.

That's a significant price to pay for how low those picks are going to be. I would say that it is worth it for the Sonics and I rate this as a good move for them as opposed to a bad move, but I just wouldn't classify this as the kind of "great" "steal" that some are.

I got a way to defend it. Bring a bat to the game and kill one of them."

I hate GAD.

The Suns 2010 pick is unprotected I believe, that pick could be a lottery pick in 2 years. Shaq/Nash/Hill are all old as dirt and in the insane western conference they could be done.

BTW when you talked to me on Friday I was drunk, so sorry if I was short with you.

Incorrect.

BTW, although the rest of us have been doing our best to keep things lively, post-game drinking just is not the same without you, ESPECIALLY when it comes to the WSSP Post Game Shows @ Fitzgibbons. And BuckFan25226 is always complaining about no one buying him a random 151 shot. You're slipping

Ah, I see :)
You seemed pretty preoccupied. I just figured I was catching you at a bad time.
