This was my first thought. Then I realized how sad it was that I was really excited to watch the game to get a Sessions peek, man the Bucks are just awesome.

:D

I heard he was spending far too much time trying to run the offense and create for his teammates. He was called into a meeting and told he'd have no chance of playing until he got that ridiculous team-first approach out of his system.

And he is also on a rookie contract. :nonono:

Who was inactive for the game? Noel, Mo, Yi?

Jim & Jon mentioned the possibility of Sessions playing last night. Agreed is was likely to happen. Good I thought, at first. But as the game went on, it felt like Coach K was likely NOT to play him.

I was wondering why I felt that way. I considered and reluctantly discarded the theory that K wouldn't play Sessions to spite me (knowing as he might that my optimism about him has turned to disappointment). I discarded that explanation because other theories over the years that the world revolves around me have proved far less true than I hoped.

Then I decided that Coach K wouldn't play Sessions because he's hunkered down against the storm. Trying to avoid criticism from above. The bench vets lack talent; don't matter for the future. But they're less likely to embarrass the coach. Coach K is less interested in any good that might come with Sessions. He's afraid of the rookie mistakes.

I don't like his expression lately. Don't like the way he relates to the team. Don't like the way they look at him.

Especially in a game that wasn't even that close for most of it. As the lead shrunk though, it seemed like a real long shot. I was wondering, if they actually could've maintained that 15 point lead without having to get nervous for a couple minutes there, if he would've had any better chance of getting a few minutes at the end. Probably not.

I don't put it on LK or Herb or whoever right now though, even though I'd still like to see him. If Ramon was tearing it up in practice I have to think he would have gotten some shot last night. I could see LK getting into cover his ass mode with veterans but he couldn't afford to keep Ramon off the floor if he were showing that much.

Yes.

And if there was still an injury concern with Sessions, he could have been put on the inactive list as well.

I'm shocked the last poll option got a vote already. Maybe Awvee Storey has himself a RealGM account ;)

The basic premise of bringing him up to sit him makes no sense.

Maybe he's too good and will blow our semi-tank job we've got going right now.

I'm pretty sure Larry K doesn't know he's on the team.

Well, keep in mind that it isn't exactly the NBA, it is the Bucks and our dysfunctional team ;)

We should just go ahead and start Ramon from here on out. So we lose some games... big deal. He gains experience and we improve our draft pick.

Return to Milwaukee Bucks
