McGlocklin also giving Bogut props for owning up to his poor game.

McGlocklin loves Mo too.

I will give Jim and Jon this. The ball didn't go to Bogut after he quit on the team.

Neither Mac or Pashke are what i'd call objective. They are paid to be homers and generally act as such regarding a terrible basketball team that often treats defense, pride, and effort as after thoughts.

In McGlocklin's defense, he just called Villanueva "a black hole" defensively. That's not a typical homer comment.

That's probably only the second time I have seen a player on this team criticize his own performance and apologize publicly for laying an egg.

The only other time I have seen this kind of owning-up was earlier this year, also from Bogut :)

The guy wants to be a leader; he just needs a good example to follow.

Also found this (in relation to some other things that have been said).

Australian Bogut getting used to league's demands
By Steve Ginsburg
WASHINGTON, March 11 (Reuters) -

NO REGRETS
Bogut, who has yet to make the All-Star team, said he no longer tried to live up to the expectations that come with being the number one draft choice.
"A lot of people will compare you to previous number one picks and number one picks in the future," he said. "I think I was the best player in my class at that time.
"Obviously Chris Paul (of New Orleans, chosen fourth in the draft) and Deron Williams (Utah, third) have had better careers than myself at the moment and their teams are winning, which is the most important thing.
"But I have no regrets. At the time I think I was the best player in college and now I'm comfortable with where I am. But I know I have a long way to go."

Perhaps the only area the seven-foot Bogut has gone backwards is at the foul line where he is averaging a career-worst 56 percent for the Bucks (23-40).
"I changed my shot over the summer," he said. "I've got a couple of flaws that I'm trying to change. It might take two years before it goes back up to where it should be.
"I was told it was going to go downhill before it goes uphill. It's something I'm going to have to live with for now."

"It's time to start producing more and more. I'm not done yet."

I've now seen Bogut own up twice. LK seems to aplolgise before, during and after every game, but the Owner, GM, Staff and other players just stay on delusional gravy train that's taking them to the playoffs :(
While an avid reader, I am not a prolific poster.

Jon and Jim spent the better part of the Philly post game trying to blame the loss on CV not having an assist while simultaneously defending Bogut's horrible effort. My guess is they realize who will be here next year.

Well said. Nothing but bad examples to follow on this team unfortunately.

I have heard them make some negative comments as this season as spiraled into the toilet, but generally they IMO put a more positive spin on the individual players than they deserve.

FWIW, i don't blame them that much given it's common to not rip your employer to often.
