Great Video. Makes you have a new found respect for how hard he worked to make it to where he is today.

At the start of the season I would have agreed that he was our best player but not anymore, at the least he is now on par with Bogut. You ask anyone on this forum who you would prefer on your team and I would be surprised if less then 80% said Bogut.

I think the attitude that most people have for Redd is the same as what they had for Ray Allen before he got traded. Just a scorer, doesn't play D, not a vocal leader, overpaid. Sometimes you don't know what you got until it's gone. There were alot of people happy to see Allen traded when that deal went down, now you can't find any. Is Redd worth a max contract? Probably not, but he's worth pretty close to it.

This is a great video...right up to the point where he becomes a ball hogging, no finishing, non clutch playing waste of a max salary slot.
and he worked damn hard to get there!!!!
don't you forget it

Bogut is our best player. Just because Redd scores the most PPG doesn't mean he's our best player.
Bogut is easily the top defender, top rebounder on the team (you could probably argue he's the best passer), he scores at the best rate, and he's easily the least selfish (outside of maybe Mason) guy of the core players.

Bogut carried an ordinary Australian junior team to a world title. I guess that's something, I cant really come up with anything else a Buck has won for a team. What has Redd won as a team? Serious question.
I understand Bogut has international success, but this is the NBA. I'm not arguing that Redd is a better player than Bogut. I'm saying how can you call Redd a team cancer when nobody else on the entire roster has never accomplished anything before having Redd on their team? That'd be like me saying CV is a cancer because Redd can't accomplish anything. It doesn't make any sense.

Maybe it's because he couldn't afford one until last summer.
