It is bloody scary that Lebron is only 23. Seriously.

And personally i prefer Deron Williams. I don't know why but even though CP3 is phenomenal what Deron did in the playoffs last year was phenomenal. Maybe CP3 will own the playoffs this year and get my vote.

Also, New Orleans isn't that bad. They have a niceish ensemble cast, and David West is one of the most underrated players going around. I would absolutely love him on this team. If you look at them they've got one of the top 3 point guards, one of the top PFs and a pretty damn good center as well. The rest of the guys are all pretty damn good shooters (which is all they need to be with that inside presence and CP3).

I think Utah's squad isn't too much better- Kirilenko has seen much better days, Okur is good but not that good, Boozer's awesome but the rest ain't great.

Well yeah, but im saying the guys on the hornets all seem to look a hell of a lot better since Paul got there than they did before playing with him. The guys in Utah were already established in what they are.

Yep I'd totally agree with that comment, but i too prefer Williams, although it's like saying I prefer Angelina Jolie over Scarlett Johansson, in the end either way I've got a smile on my face.

My reason for preferring Deron, even though I think Paul is the slightly better player right now, is simple, size. Much the same way as I love Kidd as a PG, Deron is 6'3 205, and you struggle to find a guy he can't guard. CP3 is super quick, but I'd prefer slightly less pace for the added size. For me, in a point guard, size does matter.

Deron's a better shooter (barely), uses the ball more efficiently (barely)... Paul does everything else better.

For some reason I was operating under the assumption that their turnover % was alot closer than it is... Williams has a lower usage %, shoots more FT's, shoots a better %... but he does turn the ball over more and rebounds less... so really I'd say I was wrong in what I said initially.

I don't think Bogut deserved any votes for this... but Noah obviously didn't. Rondo also got a vote from Chris Palmer, who has Beasley 4th ahead of Durant, and no Deron Williams, Melo, etc.

I think the only thing left for comparing CP3 and DW is the playoffs...they're clearly both going to be fantastic players for a long time who win tons of games and rack up great stats.

Deron's already had a very nice playoff run, while this year Chris has done a fantastic job leading his team to the playoffs. I'm not questioning Paul's ability to perform on the big stage, but he hasn't been there yet so now we'll see how he does.
