That is a good choice on your partm as it prevents you from ever being insulted. Oops, I misread, thought you said who respected you. Probably in this case works both ways.

Oh no Epi keeps insulting me. I'll chalk that up to the angry old man syndrome.

You have a real problem with ageism, lad. You seem to think that older folks are angry when dealing with you, that you are just misunderstood by them because they are so angry. You are confusing, I suspect, anger with bemused indifference. Now your folks and teachers won't tell you this, but your pretensions of humor are the only things humorous about you. I tell you, since I am indifferrent about your sense of self-worth and self-affirmation.

I'm sorry what? I don't speak like a professor so you're going to need to help me with all of those big sophistimicated words.

So if, let's say "hypothetically," LH had tried to bring in Del to be one of LK's assistants but Herb nixed it...how would you have felt about that?

Certainly wouldn't have made us any worse IMO.

Did you put "hypothetically" in quotes because you are saying that actually was the case?

Because it was.

It wasn't meant as a cheap shot, bigzy. I think Stotts' first team was more talented than Porter's first team and yet Porter, in my opinion, got more out of his players than Stotts did with his.

I've said many, many, many times I think Stotts is a smart basketball man and a strong assistant head coach. I just don't think he's cut out to be an NBA head coach. That really shouldn't be taken as an insult. Some people are born to be strong assistants but don't have it in them to be strong leaders.

Exactly.
I don't understand why such offense is taken that some people feel Porter did a better job with less talent than Stotts or LK.

By taking such offense to the Stotts comparison, isn't that just the opposite (an insult to Porter instead of Stotts) of what people are doing when making the Porter Stotts comparison the other way?

I got a way to defend it. Bring a bat to the game and kill one of them."

The sad thing is the two head coaches who followed him have been even worse.

Yeah, whats even sadder is that Porter is the one that Kohl didnt even really want.
