Non Basketball Thoughts Bucks/Celtics

Post#1 » by Andrew34r » Wed Apr 9, 2008 4:02 am

Here are a few things I noticed...

-Crowd was around 14,000 not too bad considering the Brewers drew 27,000+ tonight. No Herb...No Walter from what I saw. I guess Herb will probably be there Saturday if you want to say anything to him before the off-season or approach him with a paper bag on your head.

-Im not positive it was him but I think Steger was sitting 2 sections over from me. If it wasnt him the dude looked exactly like him...anyway Steger is on suicide watch right now as he was more into this game than anybody in the entire arena....whether he was drunk or this is how into games he gets...it was entertaining to say the least. Felt bad for him when we lost...he really...really...really wanted the win.

-For the second straight game I noticed Gadz go over to the opposing team before the game during warmups to say whats up and pretend like he actually has friends in the NBA. Than after he is done talking he runs back and goes for a lay up and misses badly. I just thought it was entertaining...I dont know needed something for entertainment you can always count on Gadz.

-During introductions Garnett and Allen were cheered loudly by the crowd and for sure louder than any of the Bucks that were introduced.

-Drunk Celtics fan in my section was yelling ESPN top ten nominee everytime the Celtics made a play for literellay the whole game.

-Fans upset that at halftime the Brewer game was not on any of the TV's anywhere in the B.C. that we could find.

-Seniorgee with another pretty entertaining performance.

-At least 5 commercials ran during the game begging people to renew their season tickets. A 400$ concession card or a 400$ merchandise card if you renew...obviously this is Wisconsin and most people will take the concession card.

Anybody else that is dumb enough to still go to games can add on if they would like...

I saw Ron Walter once or twice so maybe he has turned on his ninja skills to go with his crony skills.

Bango had a decent skit with Bango Jr.

Dancing dunkers are always good.

I mentioned RealGM to Charlie Bell at the autograph table at the pregame party and he says he's still reading.

Nothing I hate more than the fan of an opposing team in a visting arena that feels the need to act like their team hit the game winning 3 at the buzzer after every damn play.

I remember this one time (at band camp lol) when I went to a Bucks Spurs game and I sat near a guy in Spurs gear who yelled ''its Duncan time!!!!'' every damn time Duncan touched the ball.

The Bucks won the game which was great.

People like that deserve to have beer thrown at them, luckly for their sake beer is so damn expensive at the BC.

Something about people that act like that though screams ''im a bandwagon jumper''.

Oh than Walter wasnt in his usual seats...maybe he was finding out more potential trades that he can nix in the off-season.

I'm betting his Celtics hat/jersey/whatever had a "brand new" smell.
Either way, somebody should've thrown a pretzel at his ass.

I'm not surprised Kohl ducked the party, the spineless bastard.
I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

I didn't check his seats, I just noticed him entering/leaving the one tunnel a few times. Since it was posted where he sits, maybe he has found a different seat, although I'm not sure if there are usually any open in the lower bowl.

At his age, I wouldn't be surprised if his spine was completely gone

I've heard he has osteoporosis. It's pretty common in elderly women.
