People see what they want. I think oftentimes, a guy gets a rep as a defender and it sticks. Like Ivey, who is without a doubt the worst defender on the team. People will still talk about how tough a defender he is. Basically anyone who is not a good offensive player in the NBA will be called a defender.

I sincerely hope you were smirking when you wrote that. Whilst Ivey isn't a great defender, he leaves Mo and CV in his wake.

The Bucks don't have 1 perimeter player that ever stops dribble penetration...no one.

CV is the worst defender on the team, no question, but Ivey is also pretty bad. I'd rank Ivey as a slightly better defender than Mo, but it's not by much. Sessions I guess is an incomplete, but early returns are not promising.

Bell is the only guy on this team that can defend the perimeter, and he never plays.

There may have been some hyperbole in my quote butremember that our D actually got worse when Mo went down, in main because Ivey is so awful. I'd actually rate him as worse than Mo, but again, people see what they want.

And Bell is out best perimeter defender. Agreed.

Yep, and while our 3's have been disappointing this year I'd say they are our second and third best perimeter defenders respectively.

Technically he may be worse than Mo, but three things vault him well above Mo imo, he fights through screens, he'll dive to the floor and he keeps his man in front of him more often than Mo. In other words one thing keeps him in front of Mo as a defender, effort.

What a stinker by Bogut!! At least he'll probably average a double double this season now.

On Sessions, I think his role is going to be to light a fire up Mo (or whoever is the PG) whenever they need it. If they're not playing how Coach K wants them to give him the minutes, but make sure he stops trying to be Mo and just focuses on passing, defending and only shoots on layups.

It's uncanny how everyone's forgetting that.
