You could argue Sessions has been a bigger bright spot this season than Yi has been.
And thats not a knock on Yi,I think Yi will be solid and he showed some rock solid upside.
Its just ironic Yi was the 6th pick with a bunch of fanfare and Sessions was just....a 2nd rd pick and I think you could make that argument.

I'd lean towards Sessions too but I think ''Yi's Novmeber'' vs ''Sessions's April'' is a good argument.
The thing with Yi that was odd and maybe it was due to lack of energy since he had been playing basketball for months without much a break is that he seemed to get worse and worse as the season went along.

Yi's December was the really impressive month.
Sessions has definitely been the brighter spot. That has a lot to do with the difference in expectations between the 6th and the 55th pick, which is not to say that there's nothing to the argument that Sessions has outplayed Yi outright. 15 vs. 66 games isn't really a fair comparison, but I'd give it to Sessions on the merits of being the top rookie assist by a healthy margin in those games. All you can ask is that a player excels with the opportunity he's given.
