Fat lotta good that did the Bucks in the won-loss column.

No one yet and I didnt say he already signed anyone.

Yo Peep dat track record homey,(lol I dont realy talk like that)I think its safe to say he is a competent person when it comes to the game of basketball.I trust and belive Hammond will do a solid job.

And to the guy who questioned why we are excited about this go slap yourself.

I guess I'm just not sold on the fact that Kohl actually turned over the keys to the car. Knowing the history of Kohl's meddling makes me paranoid. Why didn't Kohl give up the title of President of Basketball Operations? How common is it for an owner to have that title? Hammond seems like an intelligent person, but honestly, I know some relatively uneducated people that thought that picking Darko was a bad decision. I sure hope he was on the other side of the fence on that move. Hammond is really a blank slate. We don't really know how different the Pistons roster would be if he was in charge.

I think those questions are still very valid. And unfortunately we won't have a good feel for that until we start making moves and the grapevine starts talking about who's calling the shots.

People who are uneducated most certainly wouldn't have wanted Darko...heck, the only people who had even seen him play were scouts and GMs. I'd guess Hammond was on board with the pick, but as it stands that's the only obvious misstep the Pistons made in the last seven years. That's an example where the more casual fan would have made a much better pick than the guys who live and breathe the game.

Agree with GAD....Milwaukee media very lame......

It was troubling to hear Herb say how he'd like John to call him so they can talk every day.......

Hammond reminded me of some of the other guys in the power structure like Herb, Burr, etc with his looks and mannerisms......I think the reason Chuck Diesel is thinking preacher is that Hammond, even though from Zion, has that Southern Illinois/Indiana/Kentucky thing going.

The only thing I got out of this was that the new coach is coming and soon....like by next weekend we might have the Larry out, Rick in press conference.
