Redd was never known as a lock down defender. Where did that rumor start?

It sure did.

I remember I heard it so much on here that I said it to someone, they called me out on it, so I looked it up.

Redd was never good at D.

I think Redd was a decent defender at Ohio State and his first few seasons in the NBA. Not great and certainly not a lock-down defender but decent. He was probably an average defender or slightly above average at best. But it's been awhile since he's been at that level - at least consistently.
Nothing will not break me.

Or here is an idea, instead of a coach who will know how to bench Redd.

How about a coach who knows how to COACH Redd? It is possible you know. He had a coach in college who stressed defense and being aggressive towards the basket on offense, so he was known as a lock down defender and a slasher.

Sorry Redd is not a slasher. The guy can't dunk without injuring his self. Can't keep Redd bc he is highly over paid like 75% of the Bucks roster. I wouldn't mind keeping Redd if his contract was fair.

Hammond said on the news tonight: we are going to find someone who wants to be here, if we have to sell to hard then we are looking at the wrong person"

I really like this Hammond guy....it was kind of weird seeing him in the GMs office and doing the press conference I was so used to seeing LH do those things.

NBA Live 06. The Redd commentary constantly says: "he was known as a defender coming out of college....." or something like that.
