Why there was never a Derrick Rose press conference...

According to sources close to MemphisRap.com, the basketball star and NBA hopeful Derrick Rose was in a fight with a Tigers football player, Steven Black. Steven Black who signed with the Memphis Tigers football team in December, weighs in at 213 lbs and stands 6'3" while Derrick Rose weighs in at 190 lbs and stands 6'3"

The two reportedly were fighting over a girl which could be a costly mistake for both of the two athletes. However, as far as other mistakes say during the fight, sources state that Black may have gotten the best of Rose according to Rose's appearance.

In the meantime, this battle between the two reportedly cost Derrick Rose a press conference which was due for Friday that was called off by the Memphis Tigers Athletic Program. At the press conference Rose was expected to announce his early entry into the NBA Draft.

Why didn't he just wait until he was drafted #1 or #2 overall to get that girl? I'm sure a nice bracelet would have pried her away.

He's going a bit too far with the Chris Paul emulation it seems.

Unless the Bucks are picking at #2, I would say the answer is no.

Rose needs to go on a serious nuts punching spree. I'm talking eight, nine sets of nuts.

Yep or perhaps Simmons can hook him up with some hooker punching techniques if the ball punching doesn't work out.

Logical progression I would say. Start out with football players and get whooped, punch a few balls and realize that punching hookers is where its all at.

Yeah.. I'm still hoping that Hammond can convince Kohl to give a little money to Stern under the table so we can get our hands on Rose....

Indeed.

Since last year we were seemingly punished for tanking, this year we didn't tank and now have quality leadership in place. Perhaps we deserve to be rewarded with a top 3 pick.

We can only hope.
