That's gonna be tricky. Here is what I know straight from THE MOST RELIABLE SOURCE, and this is not a joke, you can all speculate who it is, be my guest. Anyhow...Bogut is No doubt staying, Desmond is staying, Sessions is a LOCK, The want to keep YI for obvious revenue reasons and his upside but Fagen wants him out BADDDD. Fagan is already Bitchin'. YI's value at this point is worth a high lottery pick or a baron davis type guy. I AM DEAD SERIOUS. There is literally a 90% chance the players I mentioned earlier that were staying are FOR SURE gonna stay. And if it's between Redd and Mo It will be MO...HANDS DOWN. You should hear some of Mo's T.O. "Rants" in the locker room after games. We need to keep my boy Awvee too, at least he gives it his all.

The more i think bout it, we will prolly trade yi. he doesnt play good defense and if we could get a good amount of value for him, we could be in good shape to take a defensive pf with our pick

I believe it was egoe. I have no idea what it means but that's what Bucks_Revenge typed. You would have to ask him what's in his mind.

He said something like the Bucks players all have Egoes, and I said "I think you mean egos...".

Then he said that comment about eating Egoes or whatever. I still don't get it, somebody explain it to me?

I've heard all about them. There are some people on this forum who simply refuse to believe the issues that have come up regarding Mo this season despite all of the evidence that has been presented from multiple sources in this forum. I have spoken to no fewer than six people who either are within the organization or close to the team in some capacity and all of them independent of one another have talked about what a problem Mo's attitude has become. I do not know what Hammond (or Skiles now) thinks about all of this but I'd be shocked if he wasn't brought up to speed about it given how serious an issue it has become within the organization.

It would not surprise me at all if Redd was the choice to keep if the decision came down to him or Mo. In fact, that's my guess as to what we see happen this summer. I think Mo (and Villanueva) gets shipped out this summer while Redd remains for the short-term with Hammond continuing to be on the lookout for the right trade to part with Redd.

I would tend to agree with what you say, I do believe if a good deal for Redd came along the Bucks would jump all over it. I have maintained the Bucks lack size and athleticism at pretty much all the perimeter positions and that needs to be upgraded immediately. Sessions gives you good size and he is a good athlete at the point but Redd just is a poor athlete, slow, no explosion....he will continue to be exploited defensively.

I agree if the right deal comes along for Redd, Hammond will take it. But I also could see Hammond and Skiles believing Redd's ability to score will be needed as they implement a new approach going forward. He could be the bad defender they'll try to hide (both of them have talked about this) whose offensive ability is needed on the court. You still need somebody who can put the ball in the basket and although Redd had his issues this season he's still one of the best scorers in the game. I get the feeling based on Hammond's comments that has value to him but only in the short term. Once he gets more of the pieces he wants in place, then he'll look to deal Redd.

That's what happened with Stackhouse in Detroit after Dumars took over. He stayed on the team for two seasons before he was traded. It wouldn't surprise me if that's what we saw with Redd. We'll see what happens.

This doesn't necessarily take away from your general point, but one problem Dumars didn't have was Stackhouse's contract, which was in the $6-7 million range when he was traded. So the Pistons were able to get good young value with Hamilton coming back, whereas a Redd deal would probably be more of a salary dump if it happens soon.

It's my belief that it would serve this franchise best to keep Redd for a couple of years and trade him in the final year of his contract. A $17M expiring deal would be quite valuable.

For those that are looking for a "superstar" that would be one of our best chances to acquire him. Look for a team at that time that is looking to shed salary and deal a disgruntled superstar, boom, deal them Redd and it could be the final piece to our puzzle.

I'd be very surprised if Redd was dealt and Mo was kept.

Anything can happen but keeping Mo and trading Redd doesn't appear to fit with the comments Hammond has made thus far. His refusal thus far to endorse Mo despite his strong proclamations about the importance of the PG position is very telling in my opinion.

I think acquiring Haslem for Mo becomes even more of a possibility now. Haslem is perfect as our insurance policy to backup Yi or start depending on how Yi progresses.

Plus he'd be a great fit in the pick and pop offense Skiles likes while doing all the little things that Skiles also requires from his players.

Has Hammond even acknowledged that Mo exists?
