I have a tube that runs from behind the TV behind the wall and into the closet where the hub and components will be. I would just need the mini IR blaster to connect to the hub and brought back out by the TV to control any components that are not in the closet? Sound about right?
Yeah that sounds right, and I believe you can find an extension for the blaster cable if you need it.
I'll also say that it's nice not having to worry about line of sight while using it. No bending your wrist into weird angles because the coffee table is blocking you, or having to take your arm out from under the blanket when it's freezing. There are some quirks to using a universal remote, but overall I like it a lot.
Do you feel like there is latency between the wifi and blaster? Or is it pretty instantaneous for the user?
