Imagine having this take (from the Celtics board):

"Eric The Clown, The Greek Fork, disgraceful behavior on the court. Bledsoe makes Rasheed Wallace look like a meditating monk, while The Greek Fork could be the most protected by the NBA player east of San Francisco but he complains all the time, threatens the refs, blocks refs from walking, and constantly flouts the rules.

MVP candidate? He can finish on breaks, and score inside against short players, wow, so great. 25.6% from long range, something to remember, and waive a Celtic who runs like a fool to stop his outside shot and then either fouls him or watches The Greek Fork travel by to score on a drive.

Will the NBA send two refs to help the Bucks or three? The Celtics, which means the less-intelligent players which don't need to be named like Morris and Rozier, better not fall for the Fork Protection scam and gift them points via techs.

Three or four steps, and although he hates the Greek National Team the commentators will call that a "Euro-Step", to score the basket, blind refs. Even more annoying, always catches the ball in a bad spot in the paint, but slides the pivot foot and then can score. If a golfer at The Masters was kicking the ball out of the rough someone would see it, but the Fork is slipping and sliding in the paint and everyone says it is a great play.

Career-high turnover rate this season, but the Greek Fork would have set records if a ref had called some of his hundreds of walking and dribbling and stepping violations.

Horford 100% of the time against The Greek Fork. If the coach starts sending out short players to defend, fire the coach. Never leave Middleton, he is the real basketball star there.

A fake number 1 seed. A big regular season record because they plays Bulls and Cavs."

I'm going to listen to the saltics broadcast just to hear that old Boston homer cry for an entire series.

I think the Celtics are more than capable of winning 4 games (in an 11 game series).

Bucks in 5

I'm gonna be respectful and say Boston gets a game, but my gut tells me we turn another switch and sweep. These guys are loose, focused, and still rested and fresh. We are the juggernauts, b*tch.

The best/funniest part of Boston fans is their constant acting as if they're on the short end of the stick from refs in all sports. In spite of it pretty much being the opposite.

Also, the Bucks have 1 star and then role players argument. How does the same not apply to Boston?

The fact that some Boston fans think that Rozier is going to cancel out Bledsoe is one of the most hilarious takes I’ve seen

One thing I was thinking through the first round was that if refs all the D to be that physical vs Giannis and not call fouls it doesn't bode well for MKE long term. Then the 3rd quarter happened and they called everything so IDK what to think, but up til then they'd basically let a ton go vs him.

Celtics fans are one of the worst fan bases (if not the worst) on this forum. Toronto has a lot of knowledgeable basketball fans and they actually have an elite team. You don't see them acting so arrogant and butthurt about people picking the Bucks. They give the Bucks respect on their forum. Celtics fans are for the most part babies that can't stand other teams getting the attention that they think they deserve. In addition, their takes are mostly emotional, evidence-free garbage. Just like their TV commentator.

This is the same fanbase that trashed Hayward and Rozier all season long. Now they're calling them their saviors. They're going to turn on them after a few games again.

Let's kick their asses.

They have an astonishing amount of idiots on that board and the general board.

I think the gap between the celtics and pacers is closer than the gap between the bucks and celtics. The celtics swept but didn't dominate. I just don't know how they can score with the bucks. The ONLY way i see the bucks losing is if the team suddenly shoots 20 percent from three and forgets how to defend.

Who gives a **** what their fans think? People are gonna drive themselves nuts reading their board or listening to the Colin Cowherds of the world give their ridiculously stupid takes all week leading up to this series. I'm just gonna tune everything out, get into NFL Draft mode, and blissfully relish in all the **** that I don't give about dumb Boston sports fans and Bill Simmons talking themselves into thinking they've got a shot at a title this year.

We got the Draft starting Thursday, with round 2 starting Saturday or Sunday culminating in The Battle for Winterfell at the end of the weekend..... What a time to be alive

Post all-star the playoff team with the lowest net rating was Indiana (-1) and the third lowest was Boston (-0.5) and both teams had something to play for. And the first round looked like it. Boston has talent but they're definitely going to have to play better. I hope their players are as cocky as their fans.

I did not even know this information. I was just going on the eye test too. I didn't even know boston was THAT bad.

Really want this series.

Boston was my least feared team out of the other big 3 in the East, and I'm not gonna start worrying too much now. Keep playing like we have been and they'll get humbled quick.
