It's actually getting out of hand over there. He's being listed as a top 5 player in the league currently by some posters on their board and even the level headed guys have him top 5 in the East. Rose is in that horrible position for the rest of us where potential just begins to meet with reality and wild overrating begins. See Andrew Bynum, Greg Oden and Anthony Randolph for previous examples.

There was one person who put Rose in the top 5 and most of the board completely shut him down telling him how idiotic he sounds. The way Bulls fans view Rose is the same way Bucks fans view Bogut.....both are very good players who are overrated by some fans because they play key positions and were #1 picks.

Saw this while trolling another forum's NBA thread:

Glenn Davis's facial expressions are full of lulz... something to post the general board's game thread the next time he does something stupid against the Bucks.

The reason that the Knicks tried to bring Isiah back on was that he got a gurantee from Melo.

But we are not delusional about Bogut. We ALL know Bogut is not a top 5 player in the league. Hell we all know he isn't a top 10 player in the league.

Now to prove my point, the top 10 in the NBA consists of the Knicks starting 5 and the Raptors starting 5. Then 11 12 and 13 is Lebron Wade and Bosh. Where does Rose fit? NO WHERE!

its not the same at all. bucks fans mostly argue about where bogut ranks as a center and how he fits into the top 5 centers in the league, not 5 overall regardless of position. theres nobody here that would rank bogut in the top 5 or 10 players.

It's far more confusing how someone is a Bucks AND Bulls fan and tries to talk sense into both fanbases. How the hell can you root for both teams?

Isiah wanted Jennings.

Bitter doesn't even begin to describe this thread.

 at a bunch of Knicks fans trying to reassure themselves that passing on Jennings wasn't a bad thing.

From the Knicks thread: "Jennings may be as good as Felton someday which is doubtful."

God I love reading their threads.

I wish I had have quoted the thread from a week or so ago over there that had a guy's stat predictions which had 8 of their guys combining for 132.5 ppg, without counting their backup point or C. Then people are saying 'man i hope you're right', it was hilarious.

The majority of the Knick fans on that board are like their own species.

It's an absolute gold mine over there

They are apparently now better than the Hawks.

I really wish you hadn't shown me that lol, I got through the first 2 pages and couldn't read another word, it was the most disgustingly homerish thread I've ever read in my life. That Smack dude was freaking hilarious.

BTW, Anthony Randolph >> Josh Smith.

These Knicks threads are killing me.

Every single time someone posts one, I end up reading every page and laughing at just about every comment.

I got to meet him too?

Did you?

Best response to a crazy Knicks fans rant about how he's seen Jennings play a gazillion times and thinks he sucks

I lived most of my life between both cities and have seen the good, bad and just plain ugly out of both teams. When I go to a Bucks/Bulls game I just wish for a good game and usually cheer for the contending team to win and the tanking team to lose....this year I expect both teams to compete for the division so it will be harder than normal. But yes it does get tiresome trying to talk sense to the extremists in both fan bases.

Again that was ONE PERSON and everyone ripped him apart for saying it or just ignored him. There have been some Bucks fans who have said Bogut was going to be a hall of famer and better than Dwight Howard before he even played a game. I remember one poster saying he would be better than Dirk offensively, Hakeem defensively and a better passer than Vlade the year we drafted him when I was begging the Bucks take Paul and stop even considering Marvin or Bogut. Rose is in his 3rd year and that is usually the time stars become stars and since he progressed so well and steps it up in crucial times (postseason play vs Celts his rookie year was amazing on def and off) there will be people who overrate him just as Bucks fans did and some still do with Bogut. I agree that it is a funny thing you read while trolling that one fan said Rose is a top 5 NBA player now, however it is not BULLS FANS who said it...it was ONE BULLS FAN. I take Durant, Kobe, Lebron, CP3, Dwight (talent-wise) over Rose easily right now however the league is so damn watered down now that Rose and Bogut will probably both be allstars next year even if they play to half of their capabilities.

Dude, Toney Douglas is better than Bibby, just stop embarrassing yourself. You talk about TD being an undersized SG in a convo about Bibby? Wow how ironic is that  Bibby doesnt run their offense, Joe Johnson does, Bibby is the definition of undersized SG. Kill yourself if you really think Bibby is better than Douglas.

lol yeah 21/5/5 is terrible. Nice argument.

Who said thats terrible. Those are awesome numbers, for a 2nd option, but too bad Johnson is Atlantas 1st.

Are you seriously trying to say Randolph is the same caliber as Smith right now? LOLOL u kidin me

Uhm WHAT? Is this even a real question? Hell f*ckin yes Randolph is the same calibur, are you even on planet earth right now? Theres nothing that Smith does that Randolph cant, ABSOLUTELY NOTHING!

It's bad when you make Raptor fans look sensible, and Knicks fans do that often. They are easily the worst fanbase on this forum, it's unreal. That SMAC-K guy and TKF are hilarious. Never has a team that hasn't been over .500 in 10 years been so hyped.
