Not sure how Parker could be left out of anyone's Top 4...

Wiggins
Embiid
Parker
Exum

I have parker ahead of Exum but I honestly don't love him as a prospect. I just don't like that there's rumors Exum wants to play in LA. Could be nothing or a false report but I worry he would be a diva and tough to deal with.

1. Embiid (if his back checks out. If not, he's not in my top 4)
2. Parker
3. Wiggins
4. Exum

Swapping between 2/3 a lot. I just don't feel as confident in Wiggins as I do in Parker. Wiggins has a higher ceiling, but I think Parker would fit perfectly between Giannis and Sanders.

I'll go with:

Wiggins
Parker
Exum
Embiid

I don't think centers are the future of the game. The amount of wing players who have lead teams to Championships over the last 20 years is greater than great centers (perhaps take Shaq/Kobe out of the mix as they split even). Any of the four though will be exciting. Think about just how different each will make our starting lineup:

Knight
Giannis
Middleton
Parker
Sanders

Knight
Wiggins
Giannis
Ersan
Sanders

Exum,
Knight
Giannis
Ersan
Sanders

Knight
Giannis
Middleton
Sanders
Embiid

Any of these lineups sound more fun than this last year. I include Knight in all, because I hope that adding one of these superstars diminishes his role to PG who occasionally gets to shoot the ball from the facilitation of star players.

Surprising amount of people here have Exum at 1 or 2. I like his first step, but his lack of leaping ability concerns me. I believe he will be able to get to the rim against NBA competition, but will he be able to finish. If he can he's basically Manu Ginobli, if he can't he's not worth the pick.

I'm questioning Exum more also. He's 6'6 and a freak with his handle but he can't shoot. Basically a 6'6 Derek Rose If the shooting doesn't develop he only helps you marginally. But his defense is certainly going to be better than Parker and speed/quickness helps in several areas in the NBA. Parker has a better chance of being 1 dimensional.

Embiid
Wiggins
Parker
Exum

Give me one of Adams, Stauskas or Warren as well depending who we draft first.

After that, the line begins to blur.

I still am leaning towards Wiggins but I'd be thrilled with any of the four. However, I do have Exum 4th on my list just due to the unknown.

More big men have led their teams to championships over the last 20 years than wings. Dirk, Garnett, Duncan (4), Shaq (3 or 4), Hakeem (2), and the Wallaces. If you take out Shaq's with Wade and the Pistons, you're still left with 11 championships out of 20.

If anything, the one position that's held very little value in this regard it's point guard.

Wade was by far the best player on that Heat team, and destroyed everyone in the Finals, so yeah, lets take that off the board for Shaq. I don't think there is any true formula for it either way, it's just the level of your top player. Three of the top four teams have a wing as their best player this year. Then for the Clippers it's a PG.

Ehh, you could probably take Garnett off that list as well. Obviously he was an integral part of those boston teams, but there's no way they sniff a championship without Pierce and to a lesser extent Allen. He anchored their incredible defense but without pierce they don't beat lebron's cavs.

Agree about point guard, but I'll clarify my position on what I said below. I never used the term big men. I said centers. The point I am trying to make about center is that you better hope Embiid is more Duncan/Hakeem and less Dwight. He has the grace and the offensive moves to be like Duncan, but I worry he is just another Al Horford.

Do you really think KG was more easily replaceable than Pierce?
