Didn't Middleton just make a comment the other day about needing to move the ball and limit the isolation possessions?

What an ugly game so far. We look terrible on offense and terrible on defense.

I sometimes can't decide if it's the players or the coach/scheme...

I'm firmly in coach/scheme camp now. Just terrible on both sides of the court. Defense way too aggresive, offense just stagnant.

Kidd will almost surely drop this one, looking forward to us treading water in the East for half the year when we had aspirations of being a top 3 seed. All while Kidd sits merrily on his ass.

Effort and defense have been major issues with this team so far this year. GP2 is probably a great practice player in those aspects so he's getting rewarded and being used as a positive example for other players.

If effort and defense are the issues ... why Khris starts?

Fire Kidd and Prunty and Sweeney ... Trash Coaching ...

Middleton is a black hole and single handling kills us on offense with his selfishness shooting and TOs.

Giannis needs to mix it up. Not only is it predictable, it's boring to watch.

Not only gets too many post touches, but when was the last time you saw him catch on a hop and reverse pivot to face the rim? He has almost no fundamentals down there and is still decently effective, but it speaks to Kidd's apparent dogged belief in the idea that any physical mismatch needs to go the post regardless of skill level.

There are games where the other team’s hitting 3s but theyre not exploiting our D.

This is not one of those games.

Trading 2's for 3's. The Jason Kidd 90's playbook.

Ruhiel wrote:My opinion: They're grooming Tony Snell to be a second unit scorer long term. The hope (long term) for me is he'll be able to be more aggressive and score in bursts against second units. A michael cooper or shaun livingston, a 6'8. 8-10ppg, combo guard off the bench type. He's showed some more aggressiveness with the ball early on, hopefully it will increase against second unit players. I'd really like him in that role and this is "ositionless basketball" ... Maybe a Shaun Livingston with a 3 point shot is the role they are grooming him for. He did play some Combo guard in high school.

Putting on more bulk and strength each off season will be key...he did it this off season and has been a bit more aggressive taking it to the hole and finishing with contact. But I'm just guessing.....

Literally not a single thing you just posted made any sense or is applicable to Snell, save for him showing some aggressiveness going to the hoop.

Anywho, just turned the game on for a brief period before I head to a party, but this is an absolute embarrassment of a starting lineup. The Bucks downsize on the wing on defense and remove their most reliable spot up shooter so that GPII starts? Even worse is that it seems most of the offense so far has been Middleton running things on ball and thus ensuring that every single player in the starting 5 is completely useless off ball.

Fire Kidd yesterday.
