Based on where guys are mocked, if I'm picking today, it's probably Vassell.

Feels like Markus Howard is gonna be the ultimate test for the "How far can elite off-the-dribble 3PT shooting take you in the modern NBA when you're absolute garbage at everything else?" archetype.

For me it's Vernon Carey Jr. (though I do expect him to go much higher).

A Danny Green type. I like him, but I'd still prefer Nesmith because he's stronger and a better shooter/scorer.

I'm not 100% convinced he can get his shot off versus NBA defenders. But if he can, quite far imo.

This video came out a few days ago, the games taking place in totally **** gyms or a place that looks like a training facility are from this season, Greek A2 division. I am unhealthily excited. Turned 18 3 weeks ago

I will say that if we interviewed Markus Howard and told us how he envisioned fitting, and it was as a floor warping off ball hurricane (in the Korver vein) who gave his all on both ends in 3-4 minute chunks, I'd think long and hard about him. A specialist is a luxury pick but a really good specialist can make a great team better.

I've always been so fascinated by the idea of Howard, but literally every time I catch a Marquette game, it's one of his 1/17, 2/20, 5/25, etc. shooting nights and it's impossible for me to shake those memories lol.

This is the only the second clip I'm seeing from him but with his skillset he should be going top 10 in any given draft.

I'd take Markus howard if the Bucks could surround him in Summer League with everyone who has transferred out because of him. Entertainment.

Well he certainly tries enough.

Not my cup of tea, but I could see it as a microwave scorer type. 2nd round I wouldn't hate taking a flyer, but that's it for me. He's absolutely tiny. Hard to envision him guarding anyone.

The other thing that comes to mind is even if he is one of those elite shooter types (Redick, Korver), they usually take so long to get going in the NBA, it feels like it's never the team that drafted them that really benefits.

I get a big-time Jimmer vibe from him, who I also always disliked as a prospect. And your point here is a good one.

I'm pretty sure he'll be a FRP.

Might well be. A mistake in my opinion.
