There will such rumours about any female in a position such as hers, and honestly, as long as there's no abuse of power, I feel we shouldn't be concerned about what consenting adults do.

It's disappointing that rather than seeing this as a gender equal-opportunity it's become about something else. She looks very petty, and turning on another woman in the industry doesn't seem to me to be a way to promote other women making it to their position.

2021 and dudes are still talking about women “whoring around.” Yikes. What she said about Taylor was bad, and she’s going to have a tough time going forward, but who the hell cares about her sex life.

She just sounds salty she's basically getting a demotion, I don't think its that big of a deal.

Also, all this drama is dumb considering its the worst pregame/halftime show in sports. The producers are the real problem. Bill Simmons kinda went in on this in his last pod, how frustrating it was to have no time to get a point across, b/c they just run ads for 80% of the break, while the TNT crew has much more time to talk during halftime.

I was just trying to come up with a creative way of saying everyone in the story looks terrible.

Happy for him. That Atlanta team with a healthy Hunter/Reddish will be dangerous next season and I'm very intrigued with Onyeka Okongwu. Curious if they give John Collins a big deal in RFA or not.

Charles Lee in on the search as well. I think he'll be a decent up and coming head coach ala Taylor Jenkins. Still not sold on Ham. He seems more like a ra ra guy than someone who's going to scheme up something to beat you in a 7-game series.

There is an article on the Atlanta Hawks on the ringer that sort of made me think the writer might have been the Hawks GM.

Praises them for trading down in the Luka draft, praises them for adding mid firsts, rationalizes bot having better stars because “they never picked high.”

I like McMillan as a coach.Young is a second tier all star. Huerter and Bogdan are good floor spacers. Capella is a decent roll man. There is nothing about that team that says “future champion” to me.

They won't make it out of the first round next year and they will not be a top 4 seed.

I pick them to be the number 3 seed next year or even number 2, that’s a really good team over there. I don’t think they’re a dynasty in the making or anything but they’re really good.

This is their Brogdon, no? Match an offer and then trade him to the Knicks or Hornets a year from now.

Hawks are in an interesting spot. They could find themselves on the treadmill of good/bordering on great, but not a top tier team if no one makes a huge jump. Trae is obviously good and their core of bogi, huerter, capela and hunter is solid, but gallo is aging, collins might get paid too much, and reddish is a question mark.

Word in DC is that Lee is one of the finalists for the Wizards head coach.

Bogdanovich is underrated, but he's gotta prove he can stay healthy. He quietly had a heckuva season. But he's not a star, and they need a second star that can create.

They've got a massive decision to make on John Collins and the whispers of there being friction between he and Trae is interesting. The relied A TON on Gallo, particularly against us for shot creation, and he's had a long documented history of health issues and turns 33. Lou Williams is a free agent along with Solomon Hill, and I think their vet presence in the locker room could be something sorely missed. Cam Reddish is being massively overrated based on one performance in the ECF. Trae could be officiated very differently. They need a second guy, Hunter could be that, but I think there's a long way to go there. They no longer have a coaching change to rally around. They're just no longer a plucky upstart and expectations can end up hurting young teams when they're put under a microscope. It feels more like a perfect storm given the dramatic turnaround than it does an establishment.

I'd be shocked if they were better than Milwaukee, Brooklyn, or Philly next year with a Ben Simmons for a better fit deal. There's a long offseason left, tweaks here and there can change the complexion of Miami, Boston, Indiana, New York, or even Washington. Atlanta is firmly in that grouping IMO.
