Yeah, there are some pieces missing here, to put it mildly.

who knows. they might already have discussed re-signing him after buyouts in a week.
The deadline is over a month away.

Boogie has deff played well enough to earn a spot on the roster spot for the reminder of the season .

I can't think of anything that makes sense outside of being cheap OR needing the roster spot for some greater purpose.

Same.
I feel like this move is bad karma for the Bucks. Like Boogie will sign with the Heat or something and break Giannis' hand (not intentionally) on a hard foul and put Giannis out for the season. I am a karma guy and this one gives me a bad vibe.

Well, other than him being a brutally bad defender with a perpetually immature attitude.
I think the last straw for Bud was Boogie walking up and down the floor versus Detroit. Bud looked annoyed.

We're no worse off defensively playing him at C than we are playing Semi at C, and Semi does less than nothing offensively, where Boogie has been excellent. I think there's more to it than play, and he seems well liked, so I don't think the Bucks were turned off by his perpetually immature attitude.
Do you disagree that it's weird for the GM of a team to express interest in bringing back a player immediately after announcing he's voluntarily waiving that player? It's weird, right?
