Call bud, say sorry, give him a nice raise and some ownership stake. This can be salvaged yet

Would love nothing more. And I think the guy would get a standing ovation entering Fiserv.

If there is anyone left who doesn’t regret the firing of Bud, it would be a very sad event. Many of us said it was time to “move on”. Yes we have moved on but the whole team is in shambles. I have never seen the Bucks team totally so out of synch, offense or defense. I was at Fiserv today. In the first half ag was just standing and looking at the game. The Utah coach was active and pointing players to movr to certain places etc. in the 2nd half, ag was growing stressed when he realized we were about to lose. I saw him, man, saw him, trying to draw the attention of Giannis and another time the attention of Brook. Both of them didn’t even bother to look at Ag. That said it all.

Livingstone played well today; better than ajj aj mjb. So that is a piece of bright news.

If Jon Horst knew he was about to swing a trade for Dame, I still maintain there’s zero chance we would have fired Bud. It was a move purely to satiate a frustrated locker room and fanbase coming off an incredibly disappointing 1st round exit.

It is what is, but Bud’s not coming back. Gotta look solely at trying to pry a guy you already interviewed in Atkinson. Get him out of that dumpster fire in Golden State. Everybody wins.

I swear there was a time somewhere in the last minute or so that Giannis looked to the bench right at Grief and then turned back and just shook his head. I think it was after we subbed in Livingston and Dre for a defensive possession, and then subbed them straight back out a possession later for Pat and Beas? Mind you, we are down about 14 with about 40-50 seconds left. It's too late to be messing with dinky moves like this.

I disliked the Bud firing. I disliked the way ag called out ts in front of the players. Still I never imagined the 21 championship team would disintegrate iin 2023.

I wasn't this down during the worst of the Kidd run. At least we were young and could imagine a better tomorrow. I find watching this team pretty unpleasant, especially in the first half. Hell, I just straight up ignored them tonight. These guys don't believe in the nonsense defensive scheme, they're not communicating, and they know they're not in a good position to succeed. Dame is totally out of whack, Brook looks utterly miserable having to defend the hoop like it's a penalty kick, and Bobby is slowly unraveling without any structure.

Kidd was not a good coach, but he had the players ears. The only thing worse than a bad plan is guys clearly not believing in the plan.

Griff is a guy who couldn't get a coaching job for over a decade, who lost his lead assistant before game 1 because he decided to big time him in front of the team, who openly stated what his defensive plan was at the beginning of the season (and no one believed him because it sounded insane), who had to be forced into deploying the drop by his players (and it's not clear he understands what makes it work). Griffin isn't just a green coach, he's completely lost.

Sideshow Bob(by). Enough already. Fine with him being shown the door. He's become a caricature of himself.

I've seen grade school teams better organized on both ends.

I don't care how many 3s he makes, it's just excruciating watching Beas attempt to defend.

When Marques turns on you, it's bad.

I don't regret the Bud firing. I regret the AG hiring.
I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

I still say there’s a chance this could happen, and it should. Let’s hope Horst and ownership didn’t burn that bridge.

Hypothetically if Ham got the boot in LA do we like that as a hire? I know multiple guys talked about the difference in some culture stuff after he left.

He would be worlds better than Grief. He knows Bud's system like the back of his hand and would likely be more willing to try different looks. Has the respect of Giannis/Khris/Brook/Bobby/etc. Would be a very solid option to salvage this sewage.

Laker radio out here doesn't seem to think he's getting fired, though.

April 2023 was several weeks ago so I can't fault posters for not remembering it.

Getting to the “never never ever wanted Doc Rivers to coach the Bucks… until now” stage of Grief.

So where do we go from here? I, like probably most people in here, do not want to watch any more of the same being dished out again and again. If nothing changes before the next game, I don't know that I can watch any more of this. (note: I can, even though I really don't want to. It's like a car crash. I just can't look away).
