Maybe tonight because of the altitude?

Convincing Dame to not play the entire first quarter is huge. Helps sort the rotation out better.

Did Doc talk Dame out of his "play the whole 1st quarter" rotation in one day?

Glad to see Doc sub Dame out earlier, I think that could really be a positive

Wonder what the Doc is cooking here? Dame seemed to not like that earlier this year

Absolutely, and it's been evident the last 3 games with Prunty as well. AG was all-time bad

It could’ve been he was only a little worse but didn’t have the team’s ear, hard to know. Team knew it was not a great plan to pressure so they didn’t play as hard and it became a self fulfilling prophecy perhaps? Either way it’s a huge difference so far.

He didn't look happy at timeout. But maybe he'll get used to it.

In my book he was the worst coach I've ever seen coach the Bucks going back nearly 30 years, and I'm not one to blame coaches in basketball. Reason doesn't matter to me lol

it does help that denver is missing a lot of easy buckets and open shots

Khris's defense and effort against Boston and Denver have been markedly different than the rest of the season. A bit of a pattern forming suggesting he's coasting a lot during the regular season. Count me encouraged.

In all seriousness though it’ll be interesting to see what we do when the shooting slows down. I’m no basketball savant but things look a little different already. Brook, khris and Beasley stayed in while Cam and bobby came on. Seems like he’s going to run Giannis and Dame together a lot. Dame, Brook, and Giannis had an interesting switch and recover type thing earlier on a Jokic and Gordon action I think it was. Giannis had cleared out when Dame was isoing and Dame immediately had an avenue to the basket.

But the structure on defense is night and day and they're taking shots we want them to take, this is easy to see.

Doc with some beautiful, beautiful flirting with the refs during those free throws. Everything is beautiful.
