Not hungry. Even Giannis's effort is inconsistent. Not sure Dame ever had it. Too many satisfied with 1 ring and there's no cure except bringing in some hungry guys. Huge fail by Horst.

I applaud Horst for making big trades, but his moves on the margins are ****.

Yeah I’m not out on him either and won’t be until I see how the playoffs go. The vitriol toward him on this board is weird. We gave up an aging borderline all-star who would believe it or not be looking worse than Dame right now. Even if Dame is a bust, we weren’t going anywhere with Jrue, nor would his value be any higher. You make that trade 100 times out of 100. I still make that trade today.
Maybe it’s everyone coming to grips with the Giannis window being nearly closed.

Well, let’s just relax and enjoy the All Star weekend. It is tough to be Bucks fan just right now. But things will improve hopefully soon. The 6 10 Galinari brings me a lot of hope.

Today felt like... Same old bucks.
Nah, I'm starting to miss the roller coaster of Jrue. That was a different Bucks, different off balance heave.
Dame's depression has been contagious as relates to the entire team. Did they know about this whole family situation pre-trade?

ownership not going to like the way he operated the coaching search either. That’s money directly out of their pockets.

I wasn't a fully fledged Bucks fan in 2001 but I remember the optimism for the Bucks coming into 2002 and how big of a **** that season turned into.
This year is what that feels like. To go from getting Dame and re-signing Giannis to where we are now would give the Hindenburg a run in the deflation stakes.

Horst probably didn’t make a wrong decision per se getting Dame. I just think Dame hated coming here instead of his dream place Miami. And he is very unhappy here as a result & that is affecting his play. As someone else said, even other team mates are hesitant sometimes to give the ball to Dame especially on transition plays and give to Giannis.

I said this exactly same thing about Dame’s “body language “ in the preseason games. I don’t think it was too well received then. Well we are now at All Star Break and the body language has not changed in my opinion.
He's always looked miserable on the court, and no one had any problems with it when he's putting up 70. He's simply not going to provide leadership. That has to come from Giannis.

There are certain guys who either aren't putting in enough effort or simply aren't good enough anymore.
This team can't win a title though. You can't have wins like vs Denver and then drop consecutive games to an undermanned Miami and G League Memphis.
We're an alleged contender in name only. The on the floor experience pretty clearly shows we're not serious this year. Yes I'm a bit of a drama queen with this post but does anyone seriously think we're good enough to win 4 best of 7s in a row?
I'm sticking in the fork. We're done.
I’m genuinely not sure how many *games* this team will win in the playoffs lol, never mind the 4 straight best of 7 stuff. Like if we see the Heat or something in round 1 and they have their healthy rotation I’m honestly leaning towards a sweep. Maybe Giannis backpacks them to a win or two but I don’t even feel good about a first round series win, winning 4 in a row seems pure fantasy at this point.

Come on now. This board, notorious for turning on guys quickly, has given Dame more of a grace period than maybe any player we've ever had. He has probably deserved more "vitriol" a lot sooner than it arrived.

Pure nonsense, Bucks had a lot of options but they choose to trade for Dame who ain't that guy. If Dame is a bust its an all time **** up and Horst should be literally shot out of a cannon, this guy single handedly killed this team as a contender by **** Bud and trading for Dame. Maybe Horst should have been fired instead of Bud.

With dame it just could be he’s cooked physically. Small guards don’t age well. He also has been vastly overrated

Dame worked on being traded to Milwaukee. How doesn't he want to be a Buck?
I honestly can't tell if you're being sarcastic here.
I have no clue how anyone with a pulse and a half a brain could watch Lillard play basketball in a Bucks uniform and honestly think the guy looks like he wants to be here.
Never mind the fact that Dame and his agent literally got in trouble last July when Dame's agent sent out a memo to the league warning teams not to trade for Dame if you weren't the Miami Heat.
Yep, it was Miami or Portland for him. But Portland no longer wanted him.

Re: PG: Memphis Blues
Can't have guys that don't play defense and want to pound the ball so they can get theirs, Dame was just always overrated combined with him not wanting to be here for whatever reason. I just am so annoyed with the guy's fake ass persona that he cultivated in Portland, muh loyalty and such then he makes that trade demand to Miami only then dogs it in Milwaukee? Top 75 player my ass. Yeah he's sad he can't see his kids, that's why he NEEDED to be in Miami.

Re: PG: Memphis Blues
Like I said the other day, I would probably cut Dame a little slack if he hadn't been so hell bent on going to Miami this summer.
To the point that in July his agent literally sent out a warning to all the teams in the league to not even bother trying to trade for Dame if they weren't the Miami Heat.
And I could see if Dame had a list of 4 or 5 teams and Miami was on the list. But why so hell bent on Miami and only Miami?
Even before there was even a thought of Dame being traded to the Bucks, I thought that seemed suspect as hell.
Then you end up in Milwaukee and look like you want absolutely no part in being there.
Not all of us were born yesterday.

Re: PG: Memphis Blues
In my humble opinion, Horst’s decision to fire Bud was the fundamentally wrong decision. It destroyed our team’s equilibrium and led to unhappy locker rooms coz of ag.
Getting Dame was not a bad decision by Horst in my opinion. It just has not worked out unfortunately.
