We won 49 games with largely the same roster last season and had pretty damn good health out of Giannis, Dame, Brook, Bobby, etc, etc. pretty much everyone but Khris. Are we expecting him to play a lot more games this year?

The Bucks also played .500 ball for a 30 game stretch after acquiring Doc Rivers. They're not a good defensive team which hasnt been addressed this off-season. It's like some of you guys have wiped last season from your memory cards.

I would argue having Middleton playing 25-30mpg alone should get us 3-5 more wins.

I'm also not sure why you think we haven't improved defensively this offseason when we replaced Beasley and Crowder with Wright and Prince. That's a significant upgrade defensively without factoring in any improvement from our 3 young wings or the under the radar signing of Umude.

I'm not gonna talk you down from the high that you're on. I'll just say we disagree on the definition of "significant upgrades" and on the potential impact of internal development.

Middleton's a complete guess and Umade is a guy on a two way.

I'm not sure how replacing two below average defenders with two above average ones a significant upgrade then I don't know what to tell you. Also, Prince had a good defensive rating while having one of the toughest bodies of defensive assignments last year.

So I’d assume that Aj Green is closer to the starting SG than Jackson Jr. at this point considering AJG gets to skip SL and Ajax does not. Might be worth reading into?

Delon is likely taking Beverley's role and he's not a much better defender than he is.

Where are you getting that Taurean Prince had a good Def rating? It was awful. He's prob more like an average defender.

Don't think AJ Green is eligible anymore is he?

As a 3rd year player he's eligible.

Wright and Prince of course make sense and address clear holes on the team. I had been mentioning Prince on here for a few years (hopefully in classic Bucks fashion we didn't get too late). Adding Trent for league min would be a steal too. So of course I'm for these moves at the cheap cost they're coming in.

But, they're also in the positions we've been drafting the last few years (with no success) so you have a huge glut of the same type of guys and these vets blocking all the young guys. Which so far seems for the best since we're win now and those guys all look suspect, but essentially they become wasted picks at that point then if they're not even getting a chance. Have to think a trade of some kind is coming to clear this glut out a bit, Pat with one or two young guys out type of thing.

Or they know he has reached his ceiling vs. AJJ using summer league to try new things. Would like to think we are done with giving developed guys run in summer league. From Lindell of years past to playing a Warriors player last year…

Dame should just be sending Trent screenshots of Beas shooting 3s with nobody within 10 feet of him.

AJ Green is a 3rd year player, Ajax is a 2nd year player. Most 2nd year players play Summer League, most 3rd year players don't(although some do)

I wouldn't read too much past that
Coach Drew: "Milwaukee has always been a team that I have been intrigued by. When we played them, they were a tough team for us to play. Although we did beat them all four times"

He played his way into Doc's rotation last year, he's not going to play SL. Unlike MarJon.

Right. Most 3rd yr guys don't play unless they're hanging by a thread (MarJon).

Article was probably wrong but it said 4 million whatever maybe dame n trent can do a under the table handshake where dame says yoi take the minimum play with me and ill make your minimim 7 or 8 million instead

There is a zero chance that Dame, or anyone, is going to fork over $4m or $5m of his own money just to play with a buddy :lol

I know i was messing around i understand that.Kinda wonder if thst ever happens though

3rd year players can opt out, Marjon chose to play.

Pat + 2031 SRP for any min contract opens enough money to have access to the tax-MLE for GTJ. I’m quite shocked that Horst can’t pull this off.

You’d have to add 2-3 more picks. Cost of doing business these days especially when everyone knows you’re desperate

Or Horst isn't willing to give up picks just to create the opportunity to overpay GTJ. Trent provides very little value.
