But but but, lets kick Thanasis and get some other useless 15th bench man that provides nothing, that sure will help.
Whta a pathetic display from the team, no effort nothing. Fire Horst, this man is a criminal

Hiring Doc has been a complete disaster. He may have been the worst possible option.
Rehiring Grief, but yeah, it’s looking real bad. Would be curious if this was a Horst decision or an owner decision
Neither Griff nor Doc were Horst's call, from my limited intel. I only have a buddy who is a beat writer with access to the team. Horst didn't want to fire Bud, but was pushed by Giannis and Edens. He wanted to hire Kenny as Bud and then Griff's replacement, but Giannis liked Griff (which was a an acceptable compromise for Edens, who wanted Nurse) and Doc has Haslam written all over it.
Take all of that with a grain of salt. Horst has still done a bad job and should be sizzling in the hot seat right now.

It seems nobody has any clue if our pick is protected next year, I've seen people saying nope it's not and others saying it's top 4 protected. I found an article from NO saying the 2025 first was top 4 protected, so which is it?
It is an incredibly easy Google search away.
'25 1st is to NOP, Top-4 protected. If it is outside the Top-4 it goes to BKN.
'26 1st NOP has swap rights, no protections.
Then the only solution is to tank for the number one pick, and trade away everyone not core to bring any assets back

Dude, no. You are reading it wrong.
We don't get our '25 1st. Period.
New Orleans gets it if it is 1-4. Brooklyn gets it if it is 5-30.
We. Have. No. 2025. 1st. New Orleans protected it, not us.

We should tank for our 2nd round pick if they even have one.

This is how bad it’s gotten. Rando fans now saying even a single OKC player is too much to give up for Giannis.

Was out to dinner with a buddy. We were gonna catch the Bucks game. They had the Suns game on both TVs. I didn't even ask them change one.MickeyDavis wrote:Switch to ESPN and watch Bud coach. Suns playing well

Probably shouldn't repost rando tweets from accounts with under 10K if they're that stupid.

Dame green Ajax Tyler Giannis line up play these young kids especially after those blow bys from Kat on Brook
AJax had a hip pointer, that's why he didn't start the second half and played little in the 4th.
Oh ok I turned off the volume and put tunes on those two were driving me crazy were their commentary lol

Sam Presti would drive either of those guys to Milwaukee himself if all it took to get Giannis in OKC was one of them and a truckload of picks.

Re: PG Knicks - Unserious
Rando tweeter isn’t entirely daft with his take. OKC has a good thing going right now and adding Giannis to the mix is no guarantee of success.
Adding Giannis changes that team a lot in how they play. And he’s not exactly a spring chicken anymore either so you’ve got to take into account how he’ll be in 3-5 years.
But yeah, it Giannis. You take him if the price is right but you wouldn’t sell the farm for him.

That championship has almost ruined (probably not the right word) sports for me. The Bucks winning a title was my biggest sports wish for all my life and I saw it - never thought it would happen. My sports cup has completely been filled by that. I don't take any losses by any teams I support nearly as hard as I did pre bucks championship.
100% this.
It was like, “Okay that happened. It was amazing. But my life is exactly the same now. Nothing transformative happened to me. Maybe I shouldn’t take all this so seriously anymore.”
Maybe the team felt that way too. Clearly, something (a few things) changed post championship. Effort level being one.

As for the team, the problem is and always has been Giannis. His unwillingness and/or inability to make himself into a credible 5 rather than pretend to be a wing, combined with waning athleticism/health/effort has killed our ceiling. It kills me to say it, but he truly has become big Westbrook.

Nah, I'm not getting sucked into the Giannis stuff. The problems are Bobby being the worst player in the league, Pat being tsunami washed, and Brook aging as well.
You trade Bobby for literally any not **** player, get Khris back, and we have a chance.
