If Wilson actually got minutes, he probably wouldn't be any worse than Thon. But that's not praise for Wilson. He definitely stinks of Joe Alexander part two, a few good games in the NCAA tournament and here he is.

The fact that Wilson didn't get any minutes when Thon and Henson were in foul trouble yesterday was disconcerting.

Yea if he couldn't play last night (vs a team without a prototypical big) then might as well get him in the D league to get some run. But chances are they need him working daily with Kidd to be trained not to shoot 3 pointers in 2017.

Or it could just be Kidd being Kidd. But he's probably just not ready yet.

I feel like he is more of a thinner Drew Gooden.

Feel like Drew Gooden could accomplish a lot more on the basketball court. Including double digit rebounding. Don't see Wilson capable of that at the moment.

The telling thing to me is his body language when he goes for a rebound. There isn't much aggression there. Contrast that with Portland rookie Caleb Swanigan taken a few picks after Wilson. When the rebound comes off, Caleb acts like a Pit Bull going for that ball.

I gotta say, Michaels has to be one of the worst/laziest interviewers. He just asks questions while typing on a computer and then doesn't expand upon a question once it gets answered. He just moves along to the next question. Just seems super scripted and awkward.

I thought I was the only one that noticed that. The typing and not paying attention during interviews drives me crazy. Does he think we can’t hear the typing or something? It’s just so unprofessional.

Currently, the Bucks are sporting a 108.8 O Rating, 10th best in the league, and that's without Monroe/Jabari contributing really anything, and Middleton shooting 27% from 3. Granted, Brogdon is shooting 49% from 3 and Snell is shooting 54% from 3, so that will all normalize. The D is 29th in the league. Will better on ball pressure from Bledsoe significantly change the dynamic of the defense? Or will the lack of interior D and rebounding make it irrelevant?

Got to give Bolomboy a look at least. We need literally zero usage out of our center offensively.

Be curious to hear your thoughts on how the D is different now from 14 - 15 when Bucks were 4th in D eff.

The D might not have changed, but the league figured it out.

The league shoots a ton more threes now, that's the killer

There has been a slight uptick in the number of threes attempted by us between 14-15 and this season, but not much. The oppontent's percentage has been atrocious, though.

3PA against the Bucks:

2014-15: 24.1 (34.2%)
2015-16: 26.5 (35.3%)
2016-17: 28.2 (35.3%)
2017-18: 26.4 (40.5%)

Interestingly, our opponents are shooting worse when the three is defended than when it isn't. I'm not quite sure what that means - are we giving them too much space to shoot? Does it count as defended if we have a player desperately running at them as they shoot a three? Is it an aberration that will even out as the season goes on? Do I know how to read these stats even?

The Bucks need a starter who can challenge the fast, athletic PGs in the league. Bledsoe is that guy.

Very true. Are we going to keep Bledsoe on the bench against Kyrie, Wall, and Lowry? Brogdon is a good defender, but he just doesn’t have the foot speed against elite PG talent.

We did not acquire Bledsoe to come off the bench. We sure better not have. I want to watch his minutes given his injury history, but that doesn't mean not starting. Come on, now.

I would think you start Brogdon and Bledsoe and move Snell to the bench. Then stagger their minutes somewhat so there is usually one of them on the floor.

Funny I don’t think he does that during packer interviews. I haven’t really paid attention when he talks packers since it’s 95% of his show so I don’t know.

Haha that’s perfect. It’s been so long since I’ve seen Wayne’s World 2 I forgot about Handsome Dan. “Hi Handsome.....Dan.”

I do feel bad for the likes of Paul Imig though it seems as he is completely ignored.
