I see some people saying EJ Montgomery is actually an exhibit 10 deal. That was never actually reported by anyone reputable either I believe so seems likely he didn't actually get a two way deal

Who is this Jake Weingarten person and how has he gotten so plugged in to our off-season so far?

Lots of Bucks Twitter aren’t old enough to remember us giving Gadz 6/36 or TJ Fords house being raided for crack or giving Redd the max or signing Bobby Simmons or (the list continues...)

If 2 out of the 5 guys we drafted/signed on these twowayish deals can manage to crack the rotation and contribute we are in a good spot. Getting rid of Bled is addition by subtraction and Jrue will be more reliable in playoffs. Hill's shooting was never gonna be sustainable and was tapering off even before the season got stopped. DDV seems primed to take a step up and Portis adds a toughness we have lacked.

This hasn't gone perfectly but we definitely could have gotten worse. Jrue was the best option on this market and we got him. Might have given up more than needed but we had to go all in and that was always going to be hard considering how weak this FA class was.

Giannis, Khris, Jrue, Brook, Augustine, DDV, Portis, PatC

Is this a real championship 1-8 is the question.

I wonder how different this would feel if we never knew anything about our pursuit of Bogdan. I think I'd feel better about our offseason - but it all comes down to Giannis re-signing, anyway.

I really think Nwora, Adams, Diakite, Mason(if we sign him) all have a legit shot at being good role players. I'm not that high on Merrill. But I think we'll get atleast one or two of those guys to be able be a legit contributor this season

If the price of Holiday was less picks and we never heard of Bogdan in the same sentence as the bucks it would have been perfect.

As opposed to Giannis Khris Bledsoe Lopez Hill Wes Korver Ersan Pat DDV who was easily considered a championship team last year? Yes, yes it is.

I follow this from a 20,000 foot view. I’ll trust the collective pulse of the board. I feel like I need an aggregate Amazon rating to know how to feel.

And we must at least have 5 guards who can play in the regular season, i mean are we going to play the draft picks?

And at 3/4/5 position we have 5 players and one of them is DJ.

I mean who is going to play if 2 starters go down, its even harder to stay healthy with covid.

It probably won't make sense in till it's done. I still think we move DJ. I'm thinking DJ and a 2nd for Justin James.

Someone explain to me, can we add Donte + Pat S&T for Bogdan or you can only use S&T players for that?

I say this with full respect, but the collective pulse of this board tends to be “suicide watch.” The passion is there, but not always the perspective.

I mean, 3 picks and 2 swaps for Jrue Holiday while including his foil is pretty damn "suicide watch" and I'm pretty sure most posters here would say something like, "are you **** kidding me? get the **** out and be real" if that was propositioned to them during an actual negotiation. But ole Horsty was like, "Great! Lets do it! Wow, this deal feels like a Holiday! lolololol"

What I want to know is, with the roster as is, what moves could we make at the trade deadline to maybe move the needle all the way to where it was when we were getting Bogey?

While this bogey situation sucks and the Hollinger article is deeply deeply disturbing I still feel like this team improved. Maybe not for regular season but definitely for playoffs which is all that matters. Signing Giannis is far away the most important thing and would ease so much of our minds as soon as that happens.
