So we were actually trying to get PJ back? Or was that just a possibility someone was throwing out there.

Just like the Heat after they signed PJ a year ago. As a Bucks fan, the Sixers are now a team that I am much more concerned about now than I was 24 hours ago.

A team doesn't sign PJ Tucker and not get better. The Sixers were already pretty good. Signing a guy like PJ will likely make them REALLY good.

Is there an expiration date on this statement?

Do you think there’s any interest in bringing Bembry back?

I don't. Russell and Towns are close, the new core had its first taste of success, and I don't think they're looking to get old just for the sake of getting older. They'll be looking for a switchy rim protector to put next to towns. Brook isn't that and they've got Malik Beasley in the offbench gunner role.

Even so Russell wouldn't be a guy I'm looking to acquire.

There is, but I highly doubt it will be 2023.

Plus PJ is one of those guys whose expiration date kind of gets extended because he brings so many intangibles that help you win basketball games. Things like his defensive reputation that allows him to commit 10 fouls a game but only get called for 4 or 5. Telling coach Bud his **** wasn't working ect.

If I am an Eastern Conference contender not named the Milwaukee Bucks, I am sending the Buck's ownership a thank you note at least once a year for not keeping PJ in Milwaukee.

Even if PJ finally falls off a cliff this year, it doesn't fix the massive L this organization took in simply not even making a competitive offer to re-sign an awesome role-player and championship glue guy when he still had a career year left in him. This just all but solidifies the "he wanted to hang in South Beach" for the blind speculation/excuse that it was.

Or that Tucker is just chasing the highest bidder.

$57 million to age 37, getting another $30 million after that is pretty pretty good.

Even if there was he tore his ACL and MCL. He has a long road back.

Let's just resign Bobby Portis every year for the next six years.

I'd be ecstatic if we got TJ Warren, but it looks like every team in the league is trying to acquire him. Our starting lineup would be unstoppable.

I see it more as a cost cutting move for the T-wolves. They save about $5m immediately then they have the easier-to-move-at-the-trade-deadline expirings of Brook and Hill. True they would probably want to move Beasley to make room for Grayson in this scenario.

For the Bucks its a real YOLO move. Throw out a lineup of D'Angelo/Holiday/Middleton/Giannis/Portis and blaze away. If it doesn't work out you move on from D'Angelo next offseason.

There’s no reason we couldn’t have given him that Grayson money.

A year on it just doesn’t make sense we let him walk so easily.

Horst and co. should be calling the NBA every day reporting these infractions .

I really like Amir, but he's a RFA right? That could cause an issue, they'd match the offer.

They have non-bird rights only, can't match a tax MLE offer without their tax MLE. They can offer him 120% raise but it's nowhere close to the tax MLE.

So he's not eligible for the Arenas Provision because he doesn't have a full season of service time?

He's restricted and they have full bird. He's been on two-ways with them since '19. That's the piece you're missing.

I would love to take a flyer on Bol Bol. He would be the best double named basketball player this state has seen since Duaney Duaney.

Not a fan of Reddish personally, but maybe he could find some kind of bench scoring role?

I doubt Hartenstein is coming in for the tax MLE and I really don’t see us finding an upgrade from Allen with it either, much less in trade with no real assets to send out. It’s looking like another Semi+Hood off-season. Maybe we can keep Carter and find a kid like last years Hartenstein since he was one of the last FA signed last offseason

Unlike last offseason, we have 1st and 8- 2nds we can deal, plus Allen himself. We can make a deal if we're creative.
