I thought he distanced himself from the team after his letter stunt.

I'm sure his teammates are mad about the distraction he's causing by doing well in rehab. They're the ones on the floor playing yet he's trying to get the attention from the media. Doing charity appearances and stuff too, selfish prick

It is honestly so embarrassing for some posters on this board, I don’t even want to rehash it.

Next thing you know he is going to try and help kids in downtown Chicago find hope. Where will the selfishness with this guy end? And can you imagine how deflating that will be for our team on the court?

How dare he say he loves Milwaukee! What a jerk!

Just in case some don't remember and it's not obvious. These overly negative comments the last 10 or so are all sarcasm mocking some people in the past

Would like to see him rushed back TBH. Im probably in the minority on that idea, but why not start giving him 15 minutes a game in the g league for a week then bring him up and do the same.

I'm 100% fine leaving this up to the medical staff, would be silly to second guess any decision there or try to rush. This knee and how it impacts our franchise going forward is a really big deal, we have time to wait.

Yeah, I have no problem with them being super cautious. If that small chance of him fully recovering comes to fruition, the talent level on the team looks far better. If he could give an efficient 15 ppg off the bench that could be a pretty nice deadline addition that costs the team nothing.

No rush.. heal mentally and physically as much as possible and than let's see what we have.

Lost in the fog of that over-reach on the implications of that letter is how incredibly gullible so many of you were over that letter in the first place. It was every bit as embarrassing as the over-reach was in the first place, but with much more significant implications for the team if people in the front office are buying it. The idea of committing to him under the circumstances because of that sentimental crap makes me want to vomit.

You're being equally gullible if you're buying this newfound dedication to fitness and re-shaping his body. Anybody who takes off the rose-colored glasses would see this for the contract year push that it is, but Jabari can apparently sweet-talk some of you into anything. Committing to Jabari has never been in the Bucks' best interests, now less than ever.

Would have been cool if he had lost all that weight before tearing his ACL twice.
Wut we've got here is... faaailure... to communakate.

Was really hoping he’d be playing my the second week of January. If they set a date and no matter what the rehab was he wasn’t playing till that date we’ll then that’s stupid. If he’s still strengthening the tendons and the muscles well then that’s another thing, but then that makes it a bit concerning.

Isn’t him practicing against g leaguers as risky as a game? I mean those guys are probably going at him hard as hell to prove they can play in the league. I totally see a g leaguer diving for a loose ball around his knees in a game of 5 on 5

Maybe, I imagine taking out Jabari with a reckless play in practice would cross off the bucks as a potential team to make it with though.
