Bledsoe/Snell start games and bledsoe/brogdon will finish them.

Brogdons minutes shouldn't drop unless Kidd is trying to kiss veteran snell and dellys ass

Bledsoe/Brogdon/Snell/Mids/Giannis has the potential to be one of the nastiest lineups in basketball. And it's probably gonna see significant time with how Henson/Thon have been taking turns taking a dump on court every night.

we have one.

his name is giannis antetokounmpo.

The problem with Giannis being our center is that he fouls at an exceptionally high rate when he plays center. Over the past two seasons, Giannis fouls at a rate of 6.59 fouls per 36 minutes when playing center.

It would be nice to just have a competent center that can preform at an average to above average at the position, allowing Giannis to do his thing.

we just traded him away.

Can't rebound the ball anyways, run our version of a death lineup.

I don't think they can push the pace with those guys. Even though Brogdon and Midds are wing-sized, they aren't that fast.

So is this trade finalized with physicals and everything? Did Bledsoe practice today? Couldn't find him in the practice photos.

Velazquez said Bledsoe was in MKE today to get a physical and would probably join the team tonight or tomorrow.

I would assume so but I don't think it has been confirmed.

On a somewhat related note, does anybody here subscribe to Cleaning the Glass? I heard Ben Falk on a Lowe Post episode and thought he had some really smart takes so I decided to subscribe. He wrote an article about the Bledsoe deal. Brief summary:

1. He feels Bledsoe is essentially a perfect fit for the Bucks defense and believes he could return to form as one of the top defensive point guards in the league.

2. Offensively, he believes Bledsoe should have a lot of success working within our current offense, specifically with Giannis in the PnR. But the offense could be even better with Bledsoe if we had just a competent offensive center. He believe the concerns with Bledsoe being a ball dominant PG are overblown.

3. Because Bledsoe only has 2 years remaining on his deal and is a PG that depends on athleticism more than skill, the prospect of signing him to another contract is risky. As most would conclude, this isn't a move the Bucks made to win a championship 3-4 years down the road but maybe it helps the Bucks have more short term success, leading to other players wanting to play in Milwaukee, and advance the Bucks to the second round of the playoffs, which is OK to want! It's tough to win a championship.

I think Snell should come out of the bench and specializae is game in his 3pt shoot form he has been showing. We need those 3pt because Telly is unpredictable.

Pretty sure Paschke said his first game was going to be against the Lakers.

Not over the moon like so many of you are but its pretty clear with mids taking a step back (which looks much smaller as of late) that Bledsoe should be our second best player. I'm not in love with bledsoe the player. If he brings the elite pg defense of old I'll shut my mouth and be extatic.

I oddly want more telly at C. Defensively the position sucks. Maybe his slow 255 frame can bang better than henson thon. At least negate some of the reb issues. Offensively Giannis goes point C and creates headaches with a true stretch 5 in telly.

I also see talk of snell to the bench... no no no. Brogdon to the bench. Takes all the minutes bledsoe is out and kills backup pgs. Takes more minutes at 2. He fits best at 2. His speed wont get chewed up as bad by backup pgs and tgat unit needs a leader creator and scorer. Snell wont provide that. Brogs vs a backup can. It's not a demotion, its a promotion to being the man in the second unit.

We woefully suck at center. Monroe out has been a fade bucks play all year. Not sure many draw the link but its there. Monroe is glue to our awful rebounding and defense vs centers and he'll be missed. I hate trading him because I dont see this move making the team better without another move. More talented for sure but C is a big gapping soul suck for this team right now. Bledsoe is a fix hopefully... but monroe was too... just different problems. The expiring means nothing but a delly wilson for a rim protecting muscle bound tank is needed badly.

Really wish we had bam right now.

Brogdon's will drop
Snell's will drop
Delly's will drop
and Giannis' will to get some rest

Nobody's will drop all that much till Jabari gets back. Monroe is gone, and a lot of players can play multiple positions.

Really hoping Monroe is traded to the Lakers for Deng and asset and bought out so we could resign him...that'd be pretty damn ideal if he'd come back here.

Crazy how excited I am about having another guy besides Giannis who can draw contact and get to the line.

Delly's should just about cease now. Not that he's dreadful or anything (although he has been this year) but he shouldn't take 1 minute from brogs bledsoe snell. Unless mids plays PF... I dont see more than 12 max delly minutes. Its really an 8-12min plug choice between liggins terry and delly. C is soooooo ugly.

Bledsoe 36 delly 12
Snell 18 brogs 30
Mids 36 snell 12
Giannis 36 telly 12
Henson 20 telly 8.... uh oh

Cue up your delly dj delly vaugn for a big with a pulse trade scenerios.

Can't see any reason why Delly should even see the floor at this point.
