Lol wut? How does Wemby only get 13 games? OKC was a 1 seed (now with added Hartenstein), 15 games? Teams that I want to watch the most this year Spurs, Min, Okc, Ind, Mem, and Hou. I guess the Uconn Knicks will be fun once Randle gets hurt. Curious to watch Dyson on the Bawks. I’d rather watch Lauri than Bronny or Tatum missing jumpers, poor Steph being triple teamed, Doncic or Embiid whining to the refs, Jokic getting no help, Suns stars in street clothes…meh

It is rather odd that the Spurs had 19 games because of Victor but drop to 13 this year.

The OKC thing is a massive blunder. They also swapped Caruso for Giddey. Think they lock up #1 again.

How could I forget Caruso lol, OKC is stacked.

AND we get Giddey vs Giannis opening night! Fresh off their olympic success, who isn’t giddey for that? Giddey up!

Same but casual fans just want to watch Lebron and Steph so this is what we get

I’m really hoping that with Amazon having league pass rights that they make it free and broadcast every game. I’m dying for them to complete their takeover of the nfl so I don’t get stuck with the Bears vs the Panthers when the Chiefs are playing the Ravens etc

Baseball is #1 by the longest of country miles, but yea, NBA is pretty bad too.

It's too many, but in their defense, the west coast options aren't great for those late night options on espn/tnt. I remember some of those crappy GS/Portland teams, in the early Dame/Curry days, were constantly on the 9/9:30 slate.

This season, the league has arranged the schedule to make sure no team is on a back-to-back ahead of opening week national TV games, holiday games (Christmas and MLK) and before Saturday night showcase games on ABC throughout the season. In addition, no NBA Cup games will be played as the second game of a back-to-back.

A group of 11 teams have the most back-to-back games scheduled at 16 occurrences. This group includes the Atlanta Hawks, Cleveland Cavaliers, Denver Nuggets, Houston Rockets, LA Clippers, Milwaukee Bucks, New Orleans Pelicans, Oklahoma City Thunder, Phoenix Suns, Sacramento Kings and Washington Wizards.

A group of six teams have the fewest back-to-back games scheduled at 13 occurrences. This group includes the Boston Celtics, Chicago Bulls, Dallas Mavericks, Los Angeles Lakers, Orlando Magic and Portland Trail Blazers.

Feels like next summer will be the first summer that this thread will allow the Trade Giannis ideas.
Let's hope we become champions and we don't have to go through that.

We have a HUGE ROSTER GAP .... who plays PF when Giannis goes Center ? (Tyler Smith is not ready yet for that role, maybe in a couple of years).

Hoooooooooooorst fill that gap and I will buy you a house in Detroit in order to do your thing as their GM

Pat + 2031 FRP for Kessler looks like the obvious trade to duck the 2nd apron while selling to the fans and Giannis that it’s a move to make the team better.

My question is how much can Kessler improve playing behind Brook for the next couple of years.

If you are giving up a first for Kessler then you are looking for him to take the starting role by the end of this year or next year when Brook’s contract is up. Brook turns 37 in April. If he wants to play until he is 40 like Lebron then its for back up money

The 2031 1st should only be traded once it's clear this team is only a piece away and what that piece is.

It's possible the Bucks fully lean into Giannis at 5 this season.

Kessler ain’t the type I’m giving up that first for. I’m happy to send it out in a trade, but ideally for a player who would occupy different segments of the court than Giannis.

There’d be too much overlap with Kessler, and there’s very limited upside with him beyond what he already is - a great rim-protector.

True, Danny's too dumb/stubborn to sell high on a dude whose ceiling is a poor man's Marcus Camby. But thankfully we shouldn't be making such a short-sighted trade anyways.

This might be LeBron's last year. They'd put all 82 Lakers games on TV if they could.

Kessler is one of the few players I'd actually trade the 31 1st for. But I doubt Utah does it

Is Taurean Prince more of a 3 or 4?

Middleton is one of the bigger variables we got. And even if he’s healthy we need a backup.

Horst is ever seeking a PJ replacement if not upgrade to unlock Giannis at the 5.

In an ideal world Prince could take both roles but if it’s a stretch to expect that then whichever he’s worse at could be the main hole we’re looking to fill.

32 games are part of a back to back? For more than a third of the league? How is this getting WORSE?

I would trade it for any starter-level player on a reasonable multi-year contract without regret. Evergreen post applying to all deep future draft picks.
