Great.

lol this is soo ass backwards, they hire a coach before the POBO and then will hire a GM that has to deal with kidd.

WTF are these guys doing.

Bass ackwards alright and I can only hope they were just chatting with Kidd as a longtime personal adviser, tho problematic in and of itself.

I really don't like hanging Larry Drew out to dry, the Terry Porter thing was way worse, but there's a good reason you do these things in the right order, one thing at a time, at a measured pace.

Kidd's power move was intentional, transparently. Ballsy or stupid or both. When a Russian industrialist turned financier turned politician sees through your bull, and finds these kinds of openly Machiavellian actions too unsubtle, power-hungry and aggressive to comfortably ignore, prolly you're not doing it right. Prolly not a good sign.

That said, I did like Kidd's game as a player.

I'd wait to see how the roles all shake out before you rush to judgement.

L&E were foolish to think that they could make this deal happen without it leaking to his GM. It's also an unprofessional way to deal with Larry Drew.

Drew should be use to it. It's what Atlanta did to him last year.

Not psyched about the idea of trading a pick for Kidd, but I must admit it is nice to see the Bucks in the thick of it in the national media, and for something not embarrassing. We seem to be in control of the situation.

"Sweaty palms," Kidd explained after the game. "I was never good with the ball."

Not saying it will happen, but I would never forgive the owners if we had to sacrifice a pick because they tampered.

If I am the Bucks I go after Mark Jackson.

This would have the Nets immediately fire JKidd and no need to give up a pick. If they don't, I like Mark Jackson (understand most don't).

FU Rich King, your team failed on their all in one shot and now you go back to being bad for a little while at least. Billy King sucks and I don't blame Kidd for wanting to move above him. Swing for the fences, I am all aboard with Kidd as coach.

Exactly what I said hours ago. Its all agendas.

I'm not insinuating that I know anything. I just see no reason to freak out.

I have no problem with Kidd as coach.

Is it worth mentioning what happened to the Wolves in 2000 when the league found out about Joe Smith's under-the-table agreement? Stern stripped the Wolves of their next five first round picks and fined them $3.5M. That was David Stern, but the league can be strict when it feels one team isn't playing by the rules.

Someone on the JS comments area saying this is the worst move since trading Traylor for Dirk
I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.
