OT: TV and Movies (With Spoilers)

Does anyone here use Spectrum TV's streaming service (TV Choice)? I'm physically sick at the thought of going back to cable but with Hulu dropping FSN I have no other way to watch the Bucks. Any recommendations?

I'm switching to Spectrum this week. But not this particular service, just their regular cable (I have and love uVerse but have to switch due to circumstances beyond my control).

It looks like Choice is ala carte? You can pick any 10 channels for $24.99? Sounds like a decent deal if you can truly pick the channels you want.

Yeah after looking into it some more you get 5 local channels (NBC, CBS, FOX, etc..) and then you can pick 10 cable channels (FSN, ESPN, TNT, etc..). They do have a BS $8/month surcharge for the local channels but still worth it for that price. No DVR or installation costs, just need to get a Roku stick for my older plasma TV.

Yo, give Warrior a try on Cinemax, it’s a martial arts version of Gangs of New York, but in SF.... think fans on Banshee will like the violence....

Hey DB, been there ,done that.. its been out for like 5-6 years, I watch everything when it first air usually... feels like we have every channel known to man.....
It was good, but Warrior is much darker. Like I said Gangs of NY meets Deadwood meets Kung Fu... Cast could be better, but great show...Something about ItBL was weak, though I like the Baron, too much kids with super powers, maybe I'm too old, but kinda sick of Last Air Bender and Super Hero stuff, it also had like a Tomb Raider vibe to me...

I did enjoy The Boyz though, much better than Umbrella Co IMO....

Something for you off the beaten path DB, watch Beat on Amazon Prime, if you liked The Killing and EDM, its a good quick watch...

FSWI is FS1 correct? It's on the list, just checked again (BTN is not). I'm going to sign up for the weekly trial tonight after I fight with my wife which 10 cable channels to choose. Wish me luck.

No FS1 is a national sports channel like ESPN.

FSWI is not the same as FS1. FSWI is the regional network for Bucks/Brewers. FS1 is a Fox national sports channel.

I'm interested to see how the Theater business changes in the future. I don't think they'll go away but it'll change.

Nolan has this weird fetish with time travel. He’s in moderate danger of becoming a M Night Shamylan parody of himself. I thought Tenet was one of his weakest films.
