MickeyDavis wrote:The original Road House movie was great. This one though I will skip. Other than Zodiac I've never liked Gyllenhaal in anything. Can't stand McGregor. The only cast member in this I like is J.D. Pardo and it looks like his role is small.
Arturo Castro is great. Legitimately laughed when I saw him pop up in the trailer, but yeah, looks like he's just a bit character too.

I love Gyllenhall so I'll definitely watch. That said, the trailer looks bad. I like most of the side cast and Liman is very hit or miss.

In the Know on Peacock is pretty darn funny. Mike Judge and Zach Woods satirize NPR.
At a party given by a billionaire, Kurt Vonnegut informs Joseph Heller that their host had made more money in a single day than Heller had earned from his novel Catch-22.
Heller responds, “Yes, but I have something he will never have — ENOUGH.”

Just got home from The Boy and the Heron. Wonderful. There's no one like Miyazaki.

It's finally here. "The Abyss" 4K/UHD version just went up for pre-sail today. Walmart sells a digital download version that's about 40% cheaper than the Amazon physical version.

Think this was tied with that dreadful Gal Gadot spy thriller for my lowest graded movie of the year lol. One of the first movies in years where I regret seeing it in theaters.

I forgot about this one, I'm going to check it out for sure.
I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

Late to this but I'm about 6 episodes into Beef and it's one of the best shows I've watched in years. Love it

Life should not be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside in a cloud of smoke, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and loudly proclaiming Wow! What a Ride!-H.S.T.

Haven't heard much discussion about it, but I thought For All Mankind had a nice bounce-back season after the disastrous S3. Not sure where they go from here story-wise though. They're already real close to the present day timeline and I'd say it'd be smart to do 1-2 more seasons and wrap it up.

Personally, I'll never get tired of watching Nazis being killed.
