I think there's gonna be a lot of naive organizations that try and replicate the "Pacers model" because as much as we love to accuse NBA front offices of being short-sighted and reactionary (and oh boy are they), we're really no different here. For all the talk about how close we are to NFL style parity, if things play out like the betting odds predict, then it's fair to point out that all these under-achieving RS teams that made it to the Finals each of the last 3-years (Miami, Dallas, Indiana) got absolutely waxed by a vastly superior team that everyone saw coming.
Like, just last year everyone was freaking out about Boston and how "you need all 5-guys on the floor to be able to shoot, dribble, pass, and defend". And now we're all like, "just put four rotation guards/wings around Giannis and if we can sneak in as a 6-seed we got a good shot". Uhhhh......ok lol.

Yep. You only trade him if he's pounding his fists on the table demanding it. Otherwise you show him the same loyalty he's shown us.
Baffles me that some people are so willing to move on. IDC how we look in 10 years. I was able to witness a championship (hopefully more) and watch, as you said, the greatest athlete in Wisconsin history.
Hope he retires a Buck.

If there was a lot to unpack with him offensively, I wonder what could be possibly keeping him from unpacking it on a team desperate for a consistent 2nd perimeter option next to Ant. He has very limited range and can't handle the ball.
I don't even particularly like his contract at this point. It's out of line for a guy who can't create.
I think his contract is fine but the problem (like with a lot of their players) is that it's awfully hard to be paying all these guys this kind of money (McDaniels, Gobert, backing up the Brinks truck for Naz) when like you said, they don't really have any legitimate shot-creator or even above average offensive guy on the roster to pair with Ant (sorry Donte).

99% of Giannis trades proposed here are under the assumption that Giannis demands a trade. We all understand that. Keep up, Greg.

Member Rick Carlisle was the coach that turned the no named Pistons into contenders before Brown got all the credit, and won a ship with a washed up Dirk, he is probably the best coach since Phil Jackson and doesnt get enough credit. We would have 3-4 championships if he had been our coach the last 12-13 years.

Before these past playoffs neither was Gary Trent jr. Before the playoffs I thought it would be smart for the Bucks to layoff of Nembhard from 3 but he is shooting over 40% from 3 eventhough he shot less than 30% in the reg season. You never know. Kispert could work. I like that he can operate inside the 3pt line.
Kispert can't defend anyone, which will be hunted in the playoffs, and struggles to score versus physical defense.
The defense is the concern, and perhaps that would make it a better idea to look elsewhere, but we’re also only moving off Pat and a couple 2nds. We need guys who can play, and he can.
As for offense, I think that would translate just fine to the playoffs. He’s a good shooter with deep range, does a ton of it off movement with a really high degree of difficulty, and he’s also adept at getting to and finishing at the rim. The latter part is a thing we haven’t often had with shooters, and would be valuable.
I think we could use your trade package to get Isaac Okoro in a 3 team deal, and he was showing real promise before his career was derailed under Atkinson.

With the emphasis on playoff performers, Okoro last season in the playoffs before Atkinson derailed him: 22 MPG, 5.5 PPG, 45% TS%, 26% from three.

why bother assuming he'll do something he's never going to do?

Seemed prime for a Lillard, Jackson, Livingston for Beal if their Beal market sucks just to get rid of him lol.
Go Bucks!

Virtually all of the trade ideas, Giannis and others, will not/could not happen. This is a Bucks board and it's the off-season so it's something to talk about. You don't have to participate.
I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

This Pacers thing is an anomaly this year imo but Giannis stays now no matter what.

The question is Giannis able to motivate Beal to play. Can’t see the Bucks dealing Dame. But if Suns threw in an asset.

Beal ain’t waving his NTC to come to Milwaukee. He’s retiring in the desert unless someone gives him another max extension to motivate him to move.

He shot 37% from 3 point in the playoffs this year, as a 24 year old, yet Atkinson played, and even started Sam Merrill ahead of him, despite Okoro being their only defender.

Re: Bucks News, Transactions, Trade Ideas
If Okoro could become an Aaron Gordon type with a larger role in a different situation he’d be worth something to take the chance. I’ll always be a fan of taking on highly touted lotto picks that didn’t really pan out yet as long as they still have age on their side. Okoro kind of falls in that gray area still even tho I don’t see anything substantial there.
RIP Kobe Forever. GOAT 8-24. Long Live Giannis
