There are 12 teams on pace for 50+ wins. Last year there were 8. The year before 6. then 8, 6, 10, 9, 7, 2(strike year), 9, 12, 9, 11, 7, 6, 8, 8, and 7 in previous years. So, not unprecedented, but at the extreme in recent years. I don't get the sense that this is an era of lots of good teams, but instead there are lots of bad teams and decent teams can rack up lots of wins.

ORL: 12-17

Two through six are a lot closer than I anticipated.

An observation: CHA (13-20) has played 33 games and BOS has only played 27. Seems extreme.

damn.. may as well go to the first round games because no one is buying that ticket for face value if it's not on a saturday or sunday.

Hopefully he comes good in a new place. I'm surprised he wasn't moved earlier, Snyder's had him on such a tight leash for so long (even when not injured) that it just seemed like something had to give.

Clarkson seems a good pickup for Utah.

Eh Utah get a random scoring generator and Cleveland cut down on the amount of chucker guards they have. Exum gets to rehab in a new facility I guess. Nice to look a different set of walls I guess. (I'm just assuming he's injured, haven't been following)

Exum is severely out of shape. He looks worse than OJ Mayo did that year here where he was a good 15-20lbs heavier
Cavs - open up space for Kevin Porter and add a defensive guard to pair with Garland. 2 2nds come as insurance if Exums injuries continue plus his extra contract year.

Utah - finally ran out of patience with Exum and injuries, get out of his contract. Get some extra scoring off the bench in Clarkson.

I think Cavs win based on an Aussie fantasy Delly / Exum back court.

Please please please have one more magic trick in you Jeff Green and make your way to a contender in the West. Preferably one thin for forwards. Come on Lebron, you know you want to.

That's all the fan said to him? LOL. One of the biggest whiners in the NBA gets told to stop whining by a fan and he stops the game to point the fan out so that he might be removed? I was watching the game at that point, but had no idea what the fan said. I figured it must have been really bad, but I remember looking at the fan after he said it, and he didn't really seem embaressed like he said something horrible. Too much.

So telling a player to "stop whining" gets you interviewed and a security tape review? Come on now. If that's really all that was said then Lowry needs to grow a pair. Maybe there was more to it.

Robin Ficker wouldn't last 2 seconds now.

And this is where I worried players would start taking these fan interaction situations too far. These are loud arenas. Maybe Lowry thought he heard something more derogatory, but that's not an excuse for trying to get a guy kicked out of the arena for some G-rated level heckling if that's indeed all he said. Fans need to be responsible for their outbursts but players also need to be responsible when it comes to leveling some of these accusations.

Imagine if Vernon maxwell still played in the league, then there would be some real issues. Wonder if Lowry thought he said something else, or really is that soft

Problem is the board would pass the articles in a second, but they'd have to be sent up to the mod controlled senate.

LaVar convinced the nba that Lonzo was a potential superstar despite not being able to run a PnR, unable to dribble in traffic in the half court, having completely broken shot mechanics, and no consistent ability to score. The hype job there was impressive to say the very least.
