If you want embiid you'll need another top 10 pick. The price for that would be quite steep. Not sure any team gives that up for sanders unless he comes back and plays great.

The Bucks would likely have to part with Giannis plus Sanders in any deal. Too much potential at the top at a cheap price tag. So yeah, really difficult.

Villanova would be running away with this game if they could hit FTs.

I would still take wiggins 1 right now based on potential he's flashed, but I won't be sold on him as sure fire superstar until I see him dominate offensively in half court sets multiples times this year

Wiggins can definitely do that.

Ok u guys relatively down on wiggins, what do u guys think is the % chance his career mirrors Marvin William's when he gets to the NBA? Fair question...

Not even close. Marvin Williams wasn't even a starter for UNC.
I also don't think Wiggins is LeBron James. Wiggins has more holes in his game than James had.
I feel that it will come down to tournament time to determine who is the number 1 pick.

There is 0% chance he ends up like Marvin Williams. Literally zero.

Absolute worst case scenario Andrew Wiggins is Harrison Barnes. Unfortunately there is a decent chance it will be worst case scenario but he will be a legit NBA player at worst.
All posts are my own opinion.

To me, even if Wiggins never improves on his offensive repertoire more than what he has right now, he'd still be a starter in the NBA just based on his defensive ability, ability to score on cuts/tips/running the floor, and the spin move in the lane/step back jumper here and there. I honestly think he could average around 15 a game with great defense as rookie even with the currently limited skillset.

I really like the Knight-Mayo-Parker-Henson-Sanders possible lineup, plus Wolters-Neal-Middleton-Antetokoumpo-Pachulia from the bench.
It's a good mix between youngsters, vets, role players, if Parker is a legit 1st option, and he looks like that, you could easily be a top team in the East.
Great defensive potential.

I don't like any scenario where Knight is a starter.

Maybe if his name was Denise instead of Dennis.

Anyone see what Chad Ford was tweeting earlier about how Parker has struggled offensively when guarded by the other renowned prospects? Definitely something to keep an eye on as the season progresses.
Not hating on Parker either but maybe in the end that's one of the deciding factors in the Wiggins/Parker debate.

Knight can be your starter if you have a star wing, the guy is a big point with good physical atributes, a gym rat that plays hard on defense and he can hit perimeter shots, that's perfect to have near a LeBron/Kobe/Carmelo/etc...

Parker is a one man show at Duke when he got the ball down low. Triple teamed there, well done by Zona... if he can pass it out... score some pts on the jumbotron"!
I needs shades for this future thing we owning.....

I like Knight as long as he doesn't have to pass or set stuff up. He can do iso stuff

Washington's pick is top 12 protected (otherwise it goes to PHX), I think Grumfield would pull the trigger on;
Gortat, Booker (or other salary filler if they like him) for Ersan and Sanders. My problem is that is way too much to give up for a first that is very unlikely to be in the top 3.
Going to be a tough year to find sellers of picks I think. Would be amazing though to get two pieces in this draft to kick start the rebuild

I've only watched these guys now for three weeks and we have a long-way to go. That said, I think Parker's stock has at least temporarily fallen slightly after last night. I haven't figured out who to compare him to, but my gut tells me he has the profile to be one of those guys like Carmelo, who scores up a storm, but it doesn't translate to wins. Again, big asterisk that we are judging these 18-year olds, with only three weeks of play. But that's what we do on these boards.
I'm still intrigued by Randle as the guy with the best skills for the next level. Other than his complete reliance on his dominant left hand, he looks to be a 20/10 guy from day one in the NBA.

I agree its still early, but I think Wiggins stock took a huge hit last night also. He looked pretty ordinary in the lost to Villanova.
He tried to post up Hart, a much smaller player, repeatedly and was denied. Didn't do much on the defensive end and had a bunch of turnovers.
It's still a long season and I truly believe the tournament is where these guys are going to separate, but if I was a GM right now, I am not sure any guys how shown enough to be a consensus #1. The caveat is that I have only seen one game of Randle.
PS I am start to warm to Embiid. He was in foul trouble but he looks like a true center.
