IMHO not a good idea to force your season ticket holders to pay more for, while unlimited, is mostly lousy food.

Do they sell out? Maybe the Bucks could get away with it for one more year if we win the Championship or go the finals, but I think there will be a steady slide down in STHolders as people are less hyped about Giannis, the team and stadium.

ETA: Though for 13% more I would take that on as I pay $30 a ticket. Wonder how it works for people with 4 packs if you have to name a person/or how would they know if it is transferred?

I'm not sure if they sell out. It said they have 60,000 STH. Costwise for fans it's cheaper for 8 games then 41.

The free food covers roughly 15 of the most popular items on the Levi’s Stadium menu, including hot dogs (meatless ones too), garlic fries, chicken tenders, sausages, pretzels, popcorn, peanuts, candy, hot chocolate, coffee, Pepsi products and nachos.

Among food items not included are the always popular hamburgers.

“That’s an item that is certainly under consideration to be added,” a team spokesman wrote in an email. “We may give fans a chance to vote on what other items they’d like to see added and if we can do that cost-effectively we will (e.g. crab meat sandwiches won’t make that list due to the potential for high cost fluctuations).”

The Niners are contemplating several options to move lines along: having season ticket holders use their ticket to access the food, and separate season ticket holder stands (about 90 percent of seats sold are for season ticket holders). Levy also expects to deploy self-serve kiosks, and there is already an in-stadium food ordering app.
I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

https://fox6now.com/2019/10/22/fiservs-point-of-sale-platform-clover-unveiled-at-fiserv-forum-ahead-of-bucks-season/

Officials with Fiserv Forum on Tuesday, Oct. 22 unveiled a new point-of-sale platform, Clover, designed “to enhance fans’ payment experiences.”

Clover powers payments for all Fiserv Forum food and beverage concessions, providing guests with seamless, quick, and easy interactions.

The technology was unveiled ahead of the season opener for the Milwaukee Bucks Saturday, Oct. 26.

Fiserv, a leading global provider of payments and financial services technology solutions, announced its naming rights sponsorship of the Wisconsin entertainment and sports arena in 2018. The installation of Clover represents an opportunity for fans to get to know Fiserv through their use of the company’s technology, a news release said.

“Fiserv Forum symbolizes our commitment to excellence, and that now includes a more innovative payments experience to accentuate the best in entertainment experiences,” said Jeff Yabuki, CEO of Fiserv in the release. “A majority of the people in the U.S. are interacting with Fiserv technologies daily, and now those attending events at Fiserv Forum will have an opportunity to see innovation in action with our Clover platform.”

Clover enables customers to pay using a debit or credit card or via Apple Pay, Google Pay, or Samsung Pay, with the option of receiving digital receipts.

“Implementing Clover means our fans can spend more time watching the game and less time waiting in line,” said Peter Feigin, president of the Milwaukee Bucks in the release. “Being able to bring Fiserv technology to Fiserv Forum underscores the strong relationship between our organizations. With Clover, we have a world-class payment experience to match our world-class entertainment experience.”

I've worked on FiServ's systems in the past. They're almost always crappy.

I see they dropped the "friendly reminder" to not sell more than a 1/3 of your tickets.

I still don't get that. I dont like being told what I can do with my tickets.

I wouldn't hate this if ended up going to more games and/or once kids old enough to go to more. Doesnt add much if need to sell tickets.

I agree that I think season ticket holders will slide unless go to Finals. Giannis hype will level out, arena is no longer new, secondary prices will level out, and I can see the team driving people off if implement stupid restrictions, etc.

God this pisses me off. Especially because the guy that sold me my tickets kept pushing that they were an investment.

Agreed. I dont understand the rationale behind it. I mean the tickets are sold/paid for on their end. Season ticket sales are doing well by all accounts. Does it help drive single seat sales? I just dont see why they care. Do any other teams do this? I mean I know transfers are okay but I assume that is the next thing they limited. Siiiiigh.

Looks like Utah is probably getting the All-star game. Recently renovated arena. Might be awhile before Fiserv gets the asg.

I do think season ticket resales hurt single game sales. I can buy a resale ticket for less, usually far less, than face value for many games.

Case in point. Home Opener. I just looked on Ticketmaster. Section 118 row 10 seat 17. Available from the Bucks for $441(!) plus fees. Seat right next to it is a resale ticket for $225. Section 128, row 17, available from the Bucks for $273+, Stubhub same section, row 20 for $106+. Single game ticket prices are ridiculous.

I'm wondering if they're gonna push 2 year package/contract deals for renewals knowing 2020-21 could Giannis last year and if he leaves, so will tons of season ticket holders.

They are probably hoping to get an All Star Game officially announced to keep STHs locked in with the promise of getting to buy tickets. I can see a lot of STHs being very cautious about renewing even for next season until Giannis decides whether or not to sign the extension. It's not a guarantee he plays here for the full 2020-21 season until he signs that extension.

I'm already thinking of pulling out even with Giannis if they don't reward STH with the ability to buy extra playoff tickets like last year. The 99$ special is basically a third of what I pay now and since most empty seats are lower bowl, I bet they will be better seats than mine. Last year was peak ticket sales and each year it will harder to keep STH ers

It’s a good deal if you want to go to the Clipper game.

Lakers are also a December game. $200 for those 2 plus 16 others.

It's a good deal, but presumably you are receiving Standing Room Only tickets to games that would be otherwise sold out.

I'd do it if my wife would let me attend that many games.

That $200 would also get you a Giannis gnome, Giannis bobblehead, snow globe, cap and the Coach Bud headphones. Not bad at all.

Also, i can report now that the Jockey Club is a complete waste of time and membership points. I dont know what i was expecting but there's no reason to go there.
