As this point I'm riding with Wes and his D.

Keeping Wes under 25mpg mitigates durability concerns too. Having him fresh/able to play D like this in the playoffs will be great.

Fake trade scenarios were a whole lot easier back when the Bucks had dead weight contracts and underperforming players!

I certainly get the perspective we shouldn't rock the boat. But that doesn't necessarily mean standing pat.

That Pacers pick in particular is an asset we would seriously regret not maximizing on if Giannis were to leave this offseason.

Love anyone? Bledsoe, Ersan, Robin, Brown and Indy 1st?

I don't think I have ever said this about a Bucks team in my lifetime, but I stand pat.

The way this team loves each other and have a nice mix of talent that clearly does not play for stats. Why touch the chemistry of a 20-3 team? I would not trade away our bench depth. That's what separates us from LAC/LAL. We actually can play 12-13 deep.

I am sure we will tweak the roster, but the only thing I may part with is the Indy 1st. It won't be a great pick but its an extra trade chip that could net us a decent piece.
We're going to turn this team around 360 degrees.

It would be really tough to make a move now given the chemistry. It would have to be a complete no brainer. But why risk what we have going right now?

I get the wariness of dropping even "lower value" guys like Wes and Ersan for Redick -- especially after last night.

JJ's contract is high enough where it's tough to sync up the salaries without them is the challenge.

Pacers pick + RoLo + DJ + Bender + Korver (or Brown or Thanos or Pat) would work under the cap...but that's a big roster change for a team doing as well as we are.

That and if JJ would bring a douchey vibe that would mess with our chemistry (on or off the court) it wouldn't be worth it.

PG: Bledsoe, Hill
SG: JJ, Donte, Sterling, Pat
SF: Middleton, Wes, Thanos
PF: Giannis, Ersan
C: BroLo

Comparatively, Bogdanovic is not as good and doesn't have that 2nd year on his contract, but he might be easier to acquire due to the $5 million less per year.

RoLo + Bender or DJ + Bender + Korver would work under the cap.

The Kings would be mostly interested in the Pacers pick either way I figure.

Yeah it's tough firing up trade proposals because there isn't a single player I wouldn't want on the roster.

That TPE would look pretty great right about now.

Not a single Bucks or Herd transaction for the rest of the season! (With the exception of replacing Herd call ups)

I'm taking Bledsoe's defense with zero offensive contributions over Love. Anything Bledsoe provides on offense is a bonus. Love may single handedly tank this defense.

Still would have to cut someone to make use of it. Still a blunder. Could have done the MIA-Clippers trade and took on Harkless for a FRP. But let's not open that can of worms.

I'd take Dante over Redick at this point given how good he is defensively.

Thinking about trade packagers with the Pacers pick where we lose as little as possible on the court:

1. I don't sweat losing Dragan Bender much at all. Bucks don't owe him any loyalty.

2. If Bud were cool with dropping Korver for an upgrade I wouldn't mind either.

3. We could afford to trade 1 of Pat or Brown if we were acquiring an upgrade. If not at least 1 of them seems likely to walk this offseason.

4 . We could similarly afford to trade 1 of RoLo or DJ. Wilson is restricted and younger, but RoLo is more of a true 5 and has vet savvy. Which one might come down to the impact on chemistry where DJ is closer to Giannis while RoLo has his BroLo.

5. Speaking of chemistry signings, we wouldn't lose anything on the court if we'd trade Thanos, but you know, Giannis, so probably not happening.

6. Frank Mason and Cam Reynolds don't make much money but it'd be fine to include them if it'd make salaries work in the right trade. Or does it not work that way with 2-ways?

The team looks great still we should be open to opportunities to acquire another piece if it is somebody like George Hill for example

I think while we have many wings we are missing a tall SF to compliment Khris

Would Bogdanovic really be good enough here to justify trading the Pacers pick (much less resigning him in the offseason)?

At least he's restricted, unlike Bertrans.

DJ Wilson + Bender + Korver (or Brown or Pat or Thanos) gets us to enough salary to acquire a player in that salary range.

If Budenholzer doesn't really like DJ so much maybe his salary ends up anchoring that kind of package -- where the Pacers pick is really the only thing that matters.

Yes, and Love, like Bledsoe, is terrible in the playoffs.
