what's he good at? I noticed he has a 13% 3point fg percentage

He just has to learn to let it fly like Brook & Robin. But who's getting cut if he's signed?

We're on 14 roster spots. But we also don't have space under the hardcap.

Do we really think these numbers are indicative of anything? I don't, pretty sure Khris will still be one of the best shooters on the planet, and the others will follow suit.

I think these numbers are more than indicative that a majority of our “shooters” are far below league average and the last two seasons would back that assessment up.

Forbes is a career .400 shooter from three. Augustin is a career .379 and shot .402 over the last three seasons. Middleton has a career mark of .392 and shot .415 last year.

The Bucks may not be loaded with .400 shooters at every position, but there are definitely some elite shooters on the team along with many solid shooters. The numbers you posted are meaningless compared to the track record we have from actual games.

I don’t think having 3 “elite shooters” makes up for the rest of the team’s shooting, which definitely isn’t solid. Numbers don’t lie. I love Jrue, he’s a below average 3 point shooter. Donte is below average. Giannis is below average. Brook is below average. Pat, Wilson, Craig, Thanasis...if we are relying on Khris, DJ and Bryn Forbes to carry the load re: three point shooting, it’s not going to look great

Average is 35%. Most of our guys are capable of that, and many have done it before. Then you have the clearly above average group: Middleton, Forbes, DJA, Portis, and Merrill.

any way to make space and do you think he'll make it to the bucks on waivers? It'd be nice to have another good defender.

the board has generaIIy made cIear that good shooters are consistentIy good shooters.... Iike they dont ever want guys to shoot under Ieague average for a month or something because thats inconsistent bad shooting. see guys Iike beaI and booker dont ever have months Iike that..... weII actuaIIy they do but they pIay for other teams and we dont watch them every night so you can cIaim they are good consistent shooters to make a point about what we dont have enough of. i know its confusing but this is how it works

You are right, he's a terrible player. As bad offensively as you'll ever find.

Only stars should be referred to by their first names. I thought you guys were talking about the other bum Frank (Ntilkina).

I haven't watched RHJ much, but the few times I have he's been reeeally bad. I've seen him talked up on here from time to time, but I personally haven't seen many positives.

You're right that after three I mentioned things drop off. We have a bunch of guys who are right around league average not including the rookies who we don't yet know about, though they both look like great natural shooters.

I'm hopeful that Donte improves on the 34% from last year. He has a nice stroke. He doesn't look like a guy that will shoot below 35% his entire career.

Pat changed his shooting form quite dramatically after coming back in the bubble apparently after working with Korver. He now keeps the ball high through his shot. He shot 32% pre-bubble, 38% in the bubble, and 35% in the playoffs. I wouldn't be surprised if he approaches that 38% this year.

Brook dropped from 37% his first year with the Bucks to only 31% last year. I'm hoping we are at a point with the coaches and the players where "let it fly" is already ingrained and they can now make sure the players are actually taking solid shots. Brook takes too many threes where he isn't fully set.

I'd love to hear the argument that Frank isn't a star.

I'd take Frank
I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

Return to Milwaukee Bucks
