Not just that - it's been rumored for the last 12-14 months that the Bucks were shopping him.

He can't be that dumb, can he? Everyone knew he was available except Greg... OK..

Sure he can, hell the guy acquired for him thinks Kidd is a HOF coach. Hopefully he meant player?

With Jabari looking really good at the moment (actually 3 weeks ago) and with fingers crossed and touching wood along the way, we might be going to those playoffs with Giannis, Bledsoe, Jabari, Khris and Brogdon.

I have no idea what we're gonna look like as a team but maybe it's time to stop complaining that we don't have enough talent? I can think of about 20 NBA teams that would gladly swap their talent with ours and probably another 8 that would think about it long and hard.

Do we really have faith bari 3.0 will be a quality addition? He's been a swinging gate in this craptastic defense and while he can't be worse than our offensively unoffensive bench offense are we really expecting much?

If Giannis is top 5 (he is) and bledsoe is the bledsoe of old should we be hoping bari is our 3rd/3rdB with mids or should we be selling bari to dump cap so we can recruit a 3rd.

I think Giannis is getting to the point where recruiting a 3rd (really a 2nd) would be more likely than bari being one.

Im close to nightmares over... bari gets a big deal based on late season burn... blows the knee again... mid leaves bledsoe leaves... then what?

I feel if you can put another solid all-star (particularly if it's a 2-way big) with Giannis-Middleton-Bledsoe-Brogdon, the path to competing for rings gets pretty clear. But it is far from simple to get that guy.

Agreed. There is plenty of talent on this team with the guys you mentioned. I think where things get shaky is how the rest of the roster is constructed. The "other" moves to round out the roster just haven't paid off and those are the type of moves that take you deep into the postseason.

It doesn't help Jabari that the Bucks have the worst defensive scheme in the league and one that consistently exposes him. There have been plenty of worse defenders in NBA history who haven't been a detriment to the success of their team because they've had coaches who know how to use them.

I bet we could get Jonas Valanciunas for not much. He’s only 25 and I’ve always thought that they’ve used him wrong offensively

He can go **** right off after last playoff series.. same with Powell.

And we don't need a back-to-the-basket center.

He’s better as a face up big man, like I said they use him wrong. We need a 7’ bruiser. He is a better player than Monroe and a devastating roll man. Plus he can shoot.

So basically Brandon Jennings circa 2011-13 is back, but with bad knees and a worse attitude.

Awesome... wait, shouldn’t they have sent us a 1st to unload that guy onto us????

We got fleeced. Cant believe we gave up a 18M expiring and a 1st for this guy.... horrible trade.

I mean the last few years he averaged 20/6/4.5 on a decent TS%...20 PER...was jennings that good?

If you could give me the Bledsoe from 3 years ago, sure.

Going forward with bad knees and a bad attitude, I’m not sold. Hopefully it works, but I wouldn’t have made this move. Just seems to hamstring them going forward and also seems to put them out of being able to re-sign Jabari. So it’s kind of a twofer..plus one. You give up an 18M expiring and a decent player, a 1st, and Jabari Parker.. for a guy with bad knees, not a great shooter, and a bad attitude.

Seems really short sighted.
