We can still grab Alex on FA but he'll cost a little more against the cap than a late 2nd if I read right.

And that would have been a draft basically everyone would have complimented.

Alex dont deserve to be there or Kostas, i hate when you say that guys, give even a small chance to players that deserve it, thats why i hated what Thon did and i was so against him. Giannis brothers must learn to try and earn their spots. None of those 2 is now good at basketball.(Kalaitzakis also )

Re: 2021 NBA Draft - Spoilers OK
I would have picked Joe Wieskamp #31 ... BUT as reported if Horst used his phone ... we could end up with #34 & #36 .... and draft both .... Joe Wieskamp and Rokas Jokubaitis.
I can do a better job in draft night than him.
What a lazy a** work he just did.

Re: 2021 NBA Draft - Spoilers OK
Ayayi and Prkacin went undrafted and so did Juzang (scrap that, didn't know he chose to return UCLA). I had these dudes on my list along with Mann, Duarte and Butler. I knew we had no chance getting Mann nor Duarte. I was hoping Butler fell, he did but I guess we didn't like him or didn't want to take the chance with his heart condition. Hell, I would've because I feel he can come off the bench and do way more than Teague.
Anyway, Ayayi would be a good pick up I reckon (Just got picked up by the lakers damn LOL)

Ι'll be honest. I don't even remember anyone from last year's draft, and that's after they (allegedly) played in the NBA for a whole year. Record low number of **** given.

Re: 2021 NBA Draft - Spoilers OK
Favorite pick - Jalen Suggs to Orlando. Toronto regrets taking Barnes fairly quickly. Suggs would’ve been an excellent choice for Lowry to pass the torch to, Barnes was also one of my least favorite players being mocked in the top 10. Orlando capitalizes and atleast bozo Hammond didn’t **** that up..
Worst pick - easily Josh Giddy 6th overall. Dude was barely a 1st rounder imo. He’s Sasha Vujecic and Josh Childress’s love child..
Sleeper pick - Bones Hyland - I like the player but I love the situation he finds himself in now. He’ll get opportunity right away to ease Murray back into the fold in Denver and he’ll prove his worth and earn his rotation spot right away. That’s super solid in the mid 20s.. exact same thing and even same player to a degree, we wanted the Bucks to take the same approach at 31.
Most shocked in a good way - The amount of legit basketball talent that floated through the 2nd round. Even in our own situation, we moved back 23 spots and still ended up with a conference POY type of player that still has a little upside and a mature age. I mean what? 54th pick and you find someone like that? How could you not be intrigued? Sharife Cooper falls to 48, Jared Butler Luka Garza and Ayo Dosunmo, all National player of the year candidates, all fall well past 31st.
Least shocked in a bad way - Hammond takes Wagner at 8 like a true Hammond bozo would. It’s been 13yrs and the Joe Alexander experiment clearly still haunts him. He’ll make it right before he calls it quits or he’ll die trying apparently.. Wagner, like Giddey, I felt like had no business being a top 10 pick.. what do I know tho?
Overall thought - my top 3 was Cade Mobley Suggs in order, past that I saw zero star potential. I’ve seen too many Jalen Greens and Jonathan Kumingas and the likes of crazy AAU athletes come thru the draft and just not turn out to be good NBA players. Maybe it’s my older age now but I just can’t get excited for them until they prove they’re more than just freak athletes. But having said that, I was way wrong about Jaylen Brown and Anthony Edwards who I categorized the same way at draft time.. so there are obviously 2 sides to it. I have no problem being wrong and openly admitting it, but I need proof before I eat crow on that front.
And last..
The Bucks - Mamu seems fine right? I mean why not? There’s a lot of intrigue there. Feels kinda dirty to say this after ripping supreme athletes like they’re scrubs (even tho that’s not exactly what I was saying), only thing Mamu is missing is athleticism. With his size and frame and IQ, if he was athletic he’s probably a lotto pick 2yrs ago and possibly from a bigger program than Seton Hall. So there’s always those fine lines I guess you gotta take with a grain of salt. I won’t pretend I know anything about either of our picks other than they both have ridiculously long last names but atleast Horst gave me some real intrigue with Mamu. I don’t have any type of expectations yet but SL is always more fun with a new toy to play with...

Re: 2021 NBA Draft - Spoilers OK
Pretty clear that Horst had way more interest in getting future draft capital to potentially use in trades for proven players than actually making a pick in the 30's last night. It was probably good for people to have something to complain about, a return to normalcy around here.

Re: 2021 NBA Draft - Spoilers OK
The Hawks scouting game is really strong. Not only did they pick up yet another probable contributor to a winning team, but a difference maker if the guy (Jalen Johnson) reaches near his peak potential. They had the depth. Needed more impact players to compete with franchises like the Bucks. Got a potential steal at 20. Wish we'd have got in on it.
