rilamann wrote:I had different levels of emotion over the course of the last 48 hours.

After the game Tuesday I was hype, but almost more in shock. Thought I might be brought to tears if we won, but I wasn't, almost like I was too numb from shock to feel anything...lol.

Wednesday, the shock wore off and I was on a sports high and after it really started to sink in and I was watching the celebrations, I got a bit emotional. I didn't quite cry tears, but I probably could have if you had played some Bucks highlights to some melodramatic song like Winning it all by The Outfield (NBA on NBC) or something...lol.

I would totally make a Bucks version of this, and for the scrolling credits, put the names of all us regular posters. I have no video editing skills though lol. Yes, I still miss the NBA on NBC.

Anyway, later Wednesday, my emotions turned to anger and I wanted to hunt down every person who said that Giannis needed to leave Milwaukee to win a championship, and tell them to go **** themselves. I had a pretty wide range going....lol.

Thursday, it was just a calm sense of satisfaction and enjoyment that the Bucks got it done.

And yes, I honestly thought the Heat were going to beat us in 6.

Winning It All will always be the song of Larry Bird's montage in NBA Superstars Vol. 2. So good.

The last few days have felt like a lucid dream

Such an amazing week and time to be in Milwaukee or a Bucks fan

Happy for all the RealGM'ers who stuck with them thru all the years

Really great to run in to a few guys this week including Nowak and DanoMac

Hope you all had the time of your lives, how ever you were able to enjoy it and celebrate

5:25 in. Not a great call just because I don't think he expected it to be blocked and was kind of shocked when it happened.

Thanks for the link. Goosebumps. Again and again. So lucky to have Ted.

You have categorically lived in the good times  Although sorry for the whole Kidd experience.

Just because you weren't around for people to call Roko Leni-Ukic our point guard of the future doesn't mean you haven't been through some **** as a Bucks fan.

I lived that too..not for the Bucks but..

Of course the Serbian brother too...

I liked him as a Buck and i was happy when he came here but...brrrrrrr

Remember when Philly, Wolves, Celtics and probably New Orleans had better futures than us?

Heck, we somehow got a title before Sam Presti and OKC. Although they did make the Finals.

Miroslav forever. Dude looked like a Russian gangster from a John Wick movie and rode a Harley. All-time travesty that he wasn't able to be Zaza's padawan and carve out a career with the Bucks.

Lol. It was only a matter of time before I was gonna lose my **** with these fairweather bandwagon fans. Friend of mine who is known for suddenly "liking" teams when they get good or win it all, starts complaining to me about how a lot Bucks champs gear is pre-order, won't be available until mid-August, and he's "pissed" about it.

I absolutely blew my stack on this idiot. Gave him a not-so-nice pep talk about how 10+ years ago, you could barely find any Bucks gear online at all. It was ridiculous. The Bradley Center didn't even have a Pro Shop, no store whatsoever. It had, what, three or four "concession stand" little rooms next to the beer/food vendor, where you had a choice of maybe four or five shirts, three hats, a pair of fking socks, and one goddamn pennant. We were basically relegated to eBay to find cool stuff, much of it was second-hand.

Make no mistake - this happens every year when any team wins it all, and we went through the same thing with the Packers in '96. I'm glad this has brought an entire city together and there's nothing wrong with that, it's great. But I have no tolerance for fairweather bandwagon crap, it's massively annoying to those of us who are multiple decades, long-haulers with this team. Sorry, rant over.

Felt good about Bucks in 6 after game 4 but had to miss games 5 & 6 due to a camping trip in the Okanogan Highlands.

On Monday a couple of Blazers fans in the group drove down to Tonasket to get ice. After they were back, I heard from the other side of camp one of them say "F*** Chris Paul!". So I went over and asked if the Bucks won game 5 and they were a happy "yes!". We were all on the Bucks in 6 train!

Read about game 6 on Wed when we stopped for lunch in Omak on the way home. The rest of the 10-hour drive was bliss!

All this talk about Giannis Giannis Giannis, how GRRREAT he is, blah blah blah.

Mamadi was the catalyst of the championship run. The playoffs turned around after this:
